Not sure what you're asking about what atty/voltage with the battery- I'm on a 2.0 IKV 306 this week running at 3.6 and 3.7V- using the 18650's... getting about 2 days per charge...
Well that's pretty much like a standard Joye 510 running off an 18650 tube mod. Not much of a work out. A more consistant vape, but shorter overall vape time.

I'm using regular Li-ion 18650 with mine (panasonic 2900 mah). They are flat top so I added a drop of solder to the positive terminal (warning: not recommended as you can damage the bat). The bat is lasting through 6 ml of juice without sweating. I'm guessing it would die between 7-8ml but I never get that far :)

I have also tested the Tenergy 2600 (continuous discharge of 3.9 amps) and again, no issues at all. I run 1.3-15 ohms at 3.6 to 3.8v.

Does the cap close all the way with these batteries because I have a few and could just skip buying IMRs?

Also would a thin magnetic spacer so the trick you think?

yeah... i have 4 reg... 18650 AW black...button top 2200 and flat top 2600. Not the red IMR's - i have those too; ordered for the Provari.

I use them on my Phidias' ... a bit of overkill having 4 ( i sold a couple bottom feeders that these were used with as well).

Just want to know if and how people are using them on their Provari, and with what attys and which voltage.

They do last longer...

I read that they will not work in certain applications ( HV ?)... but will for apparently what others have stated (Nuck for one; jimho ... 2 days!).

thanks.

I was thinking of using a magnet on the positive terminal but it's not a good idea given the magnet could shift and touch the inside of the body at the same time resulting in a short. Assuming you are using a battery with protection or at the very least a thermistor then nothing really bad would happen but it's still not worth the risk.

Edit: The cap closes all the way for both the Panasonic and the Tenergy.

But are you willing to pay 400 dollars or would you prefer 180 dollars ??

Would that be the difference? I know what you are saying but this is the way I see it.

I don't have much money so it isn't that I can just buy everything I want but the more we have made in China the less we will have to spend in the future because there will be no jobs. I'm sure you have already noticed that little problem. I would rather buy one thing made in the U.S than two items made in China. If we don't start thinking like that...........well, we won't even be able to afford the cheap crap from China.

Yes and I'm not liking that one bit, for the cost of these the machining should be perfect, the top cap on mine is badly machined and defective how I see things, I was waiting to see if anyone else had this issue other then me, its not right and Im not happy about it for what I paid Skydragon

I would like mine replaced too, at first I thought it was the Atty's I was using, it's not I've tried for different manufacturers Attys now, everyone of them sits way crooked on the unit, like I said I was waiting to see if anyone else had this issue, I definitely would like mine replaced, this is a bad top cap for sure, the milling is not right.!

I was kind of afraid to ask. Plus, I'm cursed so figured it would just be me.

Pictures please.

I would try and take a picture but from what I understand you can't upload from your computer and to be honest, I don't really want to cause problems for David. He is nothing but nice and always goes out of his way to make everything good. I just didn't know if it was just me.

I would be curious if anyone else has that problem though. If so, I am sure it isn't wide spread. There are always going to be a few glitches.
