I have ego's, eVic, and 1 Provari. I like them all, but for different reasons.

The ego is for my on the go, stick in my jacket pocket, etc.. Excellent unit.

eVic & Provari like them both pretty well, the Provari is very durable but heavy. ZThe eVic is more user friendly, lighter, but not as durable and I feel it might break much easier...

Don't get caught up in the hype. If something works for you, why try to "fix" it...

Hope that helps. :)

Aside from the amazing quality of it, I get a much more consistent vape with it. It doesn't have the "rattlesnake" effect like my friends' Vamo or Tesla mods.

It seems like a lot of money at first, but with the quality of the product, as well as the warranty, I don't have to worry about it if something goes wrong. With my Vision Spinner or EVOD though, once it's done it's done. I have to shell out another $20+ to replace it whereas my Provari I can ship it back to ProVape and have it back within a week after servicing.

Edited to add - My Spinner still gets plenty of use still, so don't feel like there's a need to rush and upgrade.

The biggest bonuses are like others said, durability and a higher frequency PWM chip that gives a smoother vape without "rattlesnake" effect. However other products have come a long way, a cheaper alternative that works very well and has a higher amp rating, Innokin iTaste VTR.

I felt the same way when I started vaping, so don't feel bad. I still have several of those "another cheaper adjustable mod" lying around (that don't work anymore). My provari is now over two years old, and still looks & works like new.

The reality is that a Provari costs me the same as 3 weeks worth of cigarettes.

Hello :) What is all of the hype around ProVari? Hmmm.... I own 2 mods an MVP V1 and a full size Provari 2.5. Solid performance is top reason I like my Provari. It's built well and can handle some serious abuse. You get a warranty, and can send it in for repairs. Even if your warranty expires you can still pay to have it fixed. Most mods have to be tossed or turn into paper weights after they break. It feels good in the hand. Even the button is nice to push. You don't notice a drop in performance when the battery gets low. Only after it's drained and needs to be swapped. The threads don't have stretching/stripping issues like most other devices. I could go on, but I wont. Yeah I am a total "fangirl" :vapor:

The Provari does have nice threads..... I will give it that. And, you could beat someone to death with it.

Rose, you have a beautiful smile. :)

Durable construction that's said to be mil spec, reliable electronics, service behind the sale, attractive and ergonomic design, rugged good looks, and longevity are what you get from your money. When you buy a Provari, you get guaranteed service whether it's under the warranty or billed by the schedule of services.

After two years of use I sent in my Provari for a tune-up late last week under the extended warranty I purchased for $24.95 when I bought it. It should be back any day now. There was some looseness in the circuit board that made the display slide up a bit and I could feel my battery and board flipping back and forth when I pressed the fire button. It still worked fine, but just needed some TLC. When it comes back it should be like new.

I'm using my Sigelei Zmax Telescope in the meantime. It's doing fine, but it lacks the Provari "fit your hand" feel. There are lots of options out there today but few offer an actual repair service, so you use it until it breaks and buy another one unless you can fix it yourself. Provari is like a fine watch vs a Timex.

ETA: Just checked my email. Provape mailed back my repaired Provari yesterday and sent me a tracking number.

I've had my provari for almost 2 yrs now & still love this thing!! It's extremely reliable and accurate.. also its built like a tank and can take a lot of abuse (accidental) of course..

Same here. While I'm waiting for my Provari to return, I'm vaping the Sigelei Zmax. I love the Zmax, but it's a love/hate relationship. Switch bounce keeps putting me into the menu, turning OUT on and off, and refusing to fire here and there. I've cleaned the threads and applied new Ox-Guard, but it seems to be an issue with the fire switch and/or the connection between my Aspire Nautilus and the center pin. Sometimes, I can reseat the tank and it fires and other times I look at the display and it says, "OUT off". I may have to order a new microswitch and replace the fire button with a name brand part.

Hi :) I bought a ProVari 2.5 about a month into vaping. I bought it before I realized all the hub bub and drama surrounding it. I had/have a few of those ego's and spinner things. I bought it because my local shop sold them at the same price as ProVape and I went in there to buy juice....not expecting to buy a Mod. I tried different samples of juice, yada yada and then I explained the problems I'd been having. Constant fooding, rattlesnake which I HATE, having to charge it constantly, etc. Then they said "just try the vape on this and see what you think". So, I did and I was blown away. It was such a world of difference that I can't explain it. I also bought it because it's EASY to use and will take a beating. I'm not a fan of VW (just personal preference...nobody has to defend VW). I love the one button where I can use it easily. I've dropped it on tile, out of the car, and not even a scratch. It NEVER produces that rattlesnake problem (but I also buy good tanks, carto's) which also help. Was it hard to drop the money for something I wasn't sure I would be so happy with? Absolutely. But, I would do it all over again. I'm actually looking for another one as a back-up now. It's worth every penny (to me). But, that's my 2 cents. I'm not one to brow beat someone into buying anything. To each their own. I was simply explaining my experience and why I love it now.
