Okay, now that I've recovered from my eyes glazing over at the extended metallurgy lecture :)confused:), let me just say that Welcome Back Kotter had a huge and unfortunate impact on my life. For far too many years, I was convinced that the deep voice "Hi There" with the jauntily cocked eyebrow, of course, was an acceptable introduction when approaching the womenfolk, which over the years inevitably evolved into the Joey Tribiani "How YOU doin'?" Needless to say, I remain a bachelor.

We only had one TV when growing up. Whatever dad watched was what everyone watched. I don't remember changing channels that often though. I remember TV Guide.

We had two. I also had a little B&W 13" that I used to watch MASH on and play the best video game ever made...PONG.

Ditto. And the TV Guide was short, because there were only like three channels, plus whatever you had on UHF in your area, but that was only really good for the Creature Double Feature and Kung Fu Theatre on Sundays.

A slight overhang on a ringed 'Vari.. They should have made it 23mm IMO...

Exactly... :p

Update. they emailed me to say.

It had to be 23.5mm to match the diameter of the glass.

It's not really made for the ProVari but maybe someone will try it and we can see what it really looks like.

Bullfighting! I used to watch bullfighting on UHF.

ETA: This was also on UHF. It's what I had instead of Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. The Friendly Giant, early clip black and white - YouTube

But they were reruns.

We had a guy on Saturday mornings in a captain's hat and kerchief who was kind of a poor man's Bob Ross, only he did seascapes instead of happy little trees. For some reason my mom thought this was my favorite show ever and woke me up at like 5am every Saturday to watch this mindnumbing half hour of sheer boredom. The only brightspot was that I was already up to get first dibs on the Sat morning cartoons by the time my sisters were up and about.

You are so right!! It is amazing how far technology has come when you compare Atari with the white ball on a black screen compared to call of duty on the PS3, oh wait, the PS4 is out!!

I am spending my vape budget on some other things like the sophia this month, but it does interest me. I am just going to go with some things that have already had good reviews.

Hmmm.. Just received an e-mail from cigtechs... There's a new Tatroe T1 RDTA available... $129.99. Looks like a nice, easy to build atty. :)

Tatroe T1 RDTA

The only thing else, I would want to know is, what is the tank made of, if its not glass or pyrex, I would pass on it. I just checked it, it is pyrex.

I didn't know who Bob Ross was until right about he died. My guy was William Bill Alexander, "The Happy Painter."

WOW, I just did a carto swap in my kirF tank with boba juice....damn, what a difference a fresh carto makes!! I thought the vapor was less and the flavor had a slight burnt aftertaste so I changed it and it's like fresh blood!!

I often don't realize how dead a carto or atty head are until I change them.

I actually liked hong kong fooey, I'm sure spelling is wrong, and Fat Albert and Captain Kangaroo. Oh well, enough of that!!

Good ole Captain Kangaroo and Mister Green Jeans. Good thing they don't let underage vapers in here, they wouldn't have a clue as to what any of us were talking about
