Okay, so Provari post. I've been getting kinda wacky readings and getting the low battery flash when my batts are fairly fresh off the charger, trying to figure out what's going on, because the batts were actually charged up and fine. I'm sitting here freaking a little, because hey, Provari, not supposed to have issues! WTH??? Anyway, I take the battery out and notice a little schmutz on the button top. I shine a light down in, and sure enough, the contact inside is all schmutzed up as well. I took a screwdriver and carefully scraped it off, but I don't want to really go at it with something like that and potentially muck up the electronics, what do you guys use to clean that off?

A q-tip soaked with 91-99% alcohol. Just rest it on the contact for a few seconds and gently rub the schmutz off.

I've been hearing more and more about new ProVaris having dirty contacts. I don't remember mine being dirty and now I clean mine maybe every month. Guess I better read the lion's blog.......(better be entertaining)

And on that note.. I'm going horizontal. G'night Provarinati!
