I've given up trying to predict the mind of Mr. Martin. My dream of seeing Khal Drogo lay waste to the Kingdoms died early on, so I'm pretty much just cheering on Tyrion and Arya at this point.

I love the hockey shirts from Geeky Jerseys, but I missed out on them when they were in production. I LOVE my Doctor Who jersey from them!
While I concede the fact that you can't spell pimp without imp and he is probably my favorite character in the series the lannisters are impulsive, petty and with the exception of Grandpa and the imp think that they are far more clever than they really are.
While Jamie has shown signs of actually not being a complete ......head here lately he did push a child out of a tower window so he can eat a giant bag of phalli...phalluses...whatever.
Sersi...Cersi...Ubercun7...again whatever. She is unsalvagable as a person. Wherever she is at any given time is a place not nearly on fire enough. She needs to die violently. I prefer that she go the way of Freddie Krueger's mom except, you know.. die from it; but, I will accept Mr. hands style as a viable alternative.

Is everyone who owns a provari a fan of fantasy fiction or what!? (I'm not having a go here... i read a lot of sci-fi / fantasy myself).
Aria I'm expecting to be a little bada$* and I'm looking forward to it but she lacks what it takes to be a leader of nations.
The house of roses however, is what's up. I like them, a lot. They are intelligent, kind and just the right amount of crafty.

It's more like society at large has become more accepting of sci-fi over the years and thus people the world over are now more apt to rant about their own nerd neiches without fear of ostracism.
I haven't gotten that taste since I learned how to prime them the Baditude way. For my tanks I fiddle with my thingy & top the carto itself off with a toothpick. Yes, I know. I'm kinky like that. It only hurts for a second.
That's okay though. I think what it boils down to is that his forte in regards to his writing is character development so he's used that to make his stories more impactful.
