Out of all of the BF sales, I was most happy with Nude Nicotine's 50% off...I've been wanting to reduce my nic level down from 24mg anyway. I currently have a 3 year supply of nic-base in my freezer, but found it hard to pass up grabbing another 2 500ml bottles of 36mg for $31.00.
They have nic in pg, vg and a mix. Which one are you freezing?
DIY is great, but please do some reading on precautions when dealing with high nicotine levels. I use 100mg nic base, but it's extremely toxic and having the proper PPE (personal protective equipment) is a must. At a minimum I wear latex gloves and safety glasses when mixing and only in a well ventilated area. Also I store all my nic in glass bottles and break it down into 120mls and freeze the rest.
I was just thinking the same thing. Mostly because I don't have the facilities to DIY and have no desire to even start even if I'm not going to get flavor juice in the future. My mind went directly to the black market.
I currently have around 3 years worth of 48mg 70 PG / 30 VG from My Freedom Smokes in my deep-freeze.. The Nude Nicotine I just ordered is straight VG. I like the dark glass bottles the MFS nic comes in. I plan on transferring the Nude Nic into some of of the empty glass MFS bottles I've saved. I wrap them with aluminum foil and bubble wrap before freezer storage.
If there is any possibility of a ban- which I seriously doubt- I'd just but 100 30ml. bottles of Halo's Fusion- it is their nic base. All any vendor would have to do to get around a flavored nic ban, though, would be to sell their juices without nic and their base, but label their base as insecticide not intended for human consumption.
Got my 6 month vapeversary coming up on Tuesday and just can't decide what to treat myself with. I was thinking I might get a Woodville, but from the looks of the thread they might not be around till after Christmas, and I'm certainly not waiting that long. There's so many great sales, I'm kind of paralyzed by choices. New rebuildable? Fancy new tank? Stock up on a boatload of juice? I was thinking of maybe a KFL or a Russian 91%, but I've got a cheapie Rocket and the vape is a little cool for my taste, so it seems silly to lay out that much on a vape I ALMOST really love. Anyone tried the Taifun? Is the vape any warmer? I don't remember if I've asked this before, if so, sorry. In the meantime, the let the window shopping continue!
I wonder how a ban would impact companies that have started extracting their own nicotine?
The nude nic you just ordered comes in a dark bottle as well, but it's some kind of hard plastic and I transfer it to glass bottles when it arrives. What is the purpose of the foil? Is it just to reduce the light even more?

On the contrary... Folks involved in the industry for years have been fully expecting a ban. There's no need to immediately panic IMO since some of the large vendors will be filing lawsuits to slow the process, but we will know exactly what is in store next month when the proposed FDA regulations are announced. There are many out there pushing to eliminate vaping as we know it entirely. Being prepared is wise for everyone who wants to continue vaping as they like, as well as becoming involved in taking whatever action they can.

Speaking of NudeNic, I've spent tonight lazily putting together a order. Because I destroyed my right tibia twice this year, I forced myself to vape 0mg nic after my second surgery...but I still crave that nic. hit sometimes. Recently, I mixed 0.5ml of 12mg nic e-juice with 1.5ml of 0mg nic e-juice in an old Kanger T2 with a new coil. I took a vape and I've gotta say, after vaping 0mg nic for almost a month, the few vapes off that old Kanger T2 almost knocked me on my tooshie!
I'm curious what 3mg or 1.5mg nic e-juice would be like. Heck, I may order one 6mg 15ml bottle and one 0mg 15ml bottle of the same flavor and combine 'em just to try it out.

I really gotta stay out of vape shops on Black Friday

One of the nice things about DIY is you can set your nic level to what you want. Your not limited to what you can get from vendors, which is usually 6,12,18, 24 and some 30mg. I started out at 24mg, but I'm currently down to 14mg. I don't know of a vendor out there that sells 14mg juice and right now, that's what satisfies me.
I joined CASAA and participate when I get their call to actions, other than that I pretty much stick my fingers in ears and go LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA-LA. If I dwell on this I get a level of anxiety that is probably not healthy for someone with a heart problem. I have to believe that wiser heads will prevail on this, because take away vaping and I have zero confidence in my ability to stay smoke-free.
I don't believe that I'd be able to stay off analogs if I couldn't vape and I'm going to make sure that I have that ability for at least the foreseeable future. As for wiser heads prevailing, remember you are talking about politicians and that doesn't compute.
