LOLOL, I hear ya and me too. I've read blogs and threads until I'm dizzy. As soon as I think I've got it figured out, I go to order stuff and get confused again. At least w/the IBtanks I ordered, I have everything to get started all in one kit. It's the replacement stuff that has me for a loop.

Once I get the tanks and start playing, it should hopefully be clearer. Hopefully being the key word here.

Yeah, like how long does a cart last, how often do I prime it, etc...

Ha, I think once you get through a couple rounds, all the confusion will be dispelled. I found ProTanks more confusing personally, and don't even ask how long it took me to get my genesis style ZAP to work right.

YMMV, but I feel like cartos are the great equalizer for the vaping community. There is only so much to learn, and after that the options aren't as endless as other forms of atomizing.

That being said, I'll now semi-contradict myself in saying that I'm now jumping into rebuildable carto styles. I love the Diver and just bought 2 Killers off the classies. I actually need to find a way to make cartos challenging again, lest I get bored and crave a cig.

I got in on the Ikenvape platinums when he posted the link. I'm curious to see if they are all that they get hyped to be.

I'm a lil confused when you mention mega. Aren't megas the larger fatter cartos? They won't fit in standard carto tanks.

Dripping Atty I use id the JoyeTech 510 atty from ProVape. It took me a lil getting used to, but with Oce's blog help, I now frequently use it to sample new juices. I even take it with me to B&Ms to taste before I buy. Cleaning it is a breeze. I run hot water through it, and then leave it by the heater vent. It's dry and ready in 3 minutes.

This reminds me I should order more. It's been working fine, but if it ever DOES go out, I want to be prepared.

This has probably been answered, I'm posting because my guppy brain will forget what I was going to say after I read a couple of more pages.

The "Mega" cartos from IKV are what he calls XLs. They are just regular 45mm 510s. I wasn't blown away by IKV. I like the Platinum, but they don't have a flange, which I find a hassle. The Mega Fusions (510) have a flange, but the filler is different than Smoktechs (Boges are different too). They seem to dry out faster to me. I have a couple more boxes, so I'm sure I'll give them another shot, but I wasn't impressed enough to keep checking the IKV website all the time to see if there is stock.

For dripping and my bottom-feeders, I use Joyetech LR 306s (1.5Ω) that I buy in bulk from Vapor Kings. I have some Joyetech 510s, but I think the resistance is 2.0 or 2.2, whichever it is it's to cool for my BFs. Lately, I've been using hybrids from Vapage, but they only fit in bottom-feeders.They are technically 510, but there is something different with the connector pin and they won't screw onto anything else.

Thx for info! I only bought one dripper to see if I can get the hang of it. I will def try Joyetech next order.

I ordered some as well!! The mega are the 45mm length for the Xl tanks, I think......
I use the same attys Pre, mrmann has a dripping thread and I also learned alot from those guys and it is suggested to keep the atty wet while storing to prolong the life!! I use some flavor eraser from vixen to swap different flavors while sampling new juices, works quite well actually except for the heavy coffee flavors. I find these 510 attys on sale quite often from dizzciggs or something like that and have an atty for fruits, menthols, tobaccos, etc. just a thought!!

That's exactly what I do. When I store them I put in a drop or two of unflavored with a condom over the connector end. It works well. I found on in the back of a drawer that had been sitting there for about 8 months and it vape just fine without cleaning. I have Vixen's flavor eraser too, but I don't use it often. I like unflavored, so I usually vape that until the first flavor goes away.

It is Digitialciggz that has good prices on the 510s (as does Vapor Kings if you buy in bulk). Their regular price for a 5-pack is good, but they often have sale that are really good. Sometimes they have coupons too, that they let you use even on the sale items. Mr. Mann's thread is a good place to check if there is a coupon.

First time I tried Gambit at a B&M about two months ago, blew me away. Bought a sample pack about a month ago, not so much. I feel like they changed the formula or something and not for the better. Grandmaster, however, is awesome.

Who is the juice vendor on the square bottles? I know I saw a write up on those but can't think of who it is. Zeus juice or something like that?

I think Fancee juice bottoms are square too.

I know you are a hot-swapper. Don't flanged cartos make that impossible on tanks that aren't ambiflipxtrous like IBTanks. Are does that mean you are IBTank exclusive with your hot self? errr, hot-swapping self?

You can't hot swap with a tank that has a groove at the bottom for the flange to fit into, like the Smoktech DCTs. It will work with any tank that has interchangeable top and bottom caps. I don't have a Phiniac, so I don't know if the grommets are tight enough for it to work. I can't hot swap with the grommet tank I got from Valley View Vapes (the grommets are too loose), but getting a carto inside is a nightmare too. Thank goodness it has a side fill screw or I would never use it. I know someone who got so frustrated trying to get a carto in that she threw it across the room. It does take practice.

I was confused too so I went to a local B&M and they showed me how to fill and assemble it. But when I've tried at home, I get juice all over the place. I'm going to give it another shot since I haven't used them for a while and since I buy in bulk I have several cartos just sitting around in my drawer acting lonely.

Ive never tried a cartotank, they confuse the hell out of me

Check my blog, or I can PM you more detailed step-by-step. I would make a video, but it would be so boring!

I just checked your blog. Very detailed instructions. I like using the medicine cap too. I'm going to give it a shot. Thanks!!

OCD (IBTanked) also has a method using the "thingy" bottle the tube comes in, but I don't have enough patience for that method. I asked someone how long they did it and he said about 12 turns. I had to laugh! 1, 2, 3, 4...okay I'm bored now.
