I did get your point, Bronzed one, and thank you. Sometimes, when it all causes feelings of helplessness, and we see our vape life circling the drain, I have to "do" something, be it useful or not.
As Cgin said, nothing is set in stone. And to me, there is simply nothing wrong with a bit of optimism.
yeah, I also activate it each ride, so I can see what i've done. My kid, who turned me on to this app, and I share each other's ride info. I do 22m and he doesn't post unless he does 120m.I really am enjoying the strava app. It also has lot's of other useful stuff, like when a trail seems to just end, I can pull up the map on it and see how the trail is incorporated into the city streets to go further explore, and it tracks time and speed of repeated segments if they have been tagged, and you can look up other folks time and speed for those segments. I have been pretty diligent to activate the app every ride since getting the new phone...
I am beginning to understand more and more about the saying, the envy of youth...yeah, I also activate it each ride, so I can see what i've done. My kid, who turned me on to this app, and I share each other's ride info. I do 22m and he doesn't post unless he does 120m.
One of the things about Trump is that you should ignore the first thing he says about anything [cause like him or hate him, he does enjoy talking off the cuff] and pay attention to the second thing he says about the same topic.Yeah, I give up trying to pin this on one party over the other. We have, "Republican In Chief" who wants to ban flavors on a Federal level. On the other hand, the Judge who shot down Whitmer's flavor ban in Michigan is a black female democrat.
God bless America!
...Bill still has my radius. I hope it's not too much for him. LOL,.

I was optimistic and felt justified back when Gottlieb was running the FDA. I wasn't exactly in the majority.I very much appreciate your optimism during these dismal days of our vaping journey.![]()
Oh, I completely agree with you, on all of the above.I was optimistic and felt justified back when Gottlieb was running the FDA. I wasn't exactly in the majority.
Yes, I knew there would be a clamp-down on vaping even under Gottlieb but felt we would still have vaping as a legal and viable activity. Well, Gottlieb left and we got Azar who is an enemy of vaping and a complete disappointment. Then add the judge's decision to move the deadline up to May and now the epidemic of "vaping related" illnesses and, well, my optimism has turned to realism. I've responded by stocking up on all necessary gear and ingredients for DIY. I've still written gov't officials but truthfully I have come to the conclusion that optimism wont keep me vaping in the future. Would I welcome a reprieve on what appears to be a death sentence for legal vaping? Oh, hell yes! Just not enough hope to keep me from preparing otherwise.

I always kind of had a sweetness for Gottlieb personally too. @Bronze we are so similar in many ways (and different in others)

Must be why I do all my important thinking in the shower...Well, I took a shower and I figured it out. Showers are warm and dilate my vasculature making it easier to get oxygen to my brain. Bronze and Anna are similar in that they both think about things, not accepting conventional, easy or obvious explanation.
In Bronze this thought is easier to see. Anna requires a a little more time because of the easy flow of consciousness from idea to idea. My first thought was that of "flighty", but upon continued reading a with attention paid, the act of deliberate thinking became clear with her, too. I try to not miss either's posts.
