That's my "go to" and favorite gauge for kanthal coils for all kinds of different atty's (most all the KFL variations, Skylines, Hastur, Doggystyle, Beserker, ERL's, etc. My 'standard' coil is 7 wraps, 2.5mm id for about 1.6Ωs.

I only use 30g with a 2.0mm is coil in the KFL2019s to help control the warmer vape from the small chambers and 28g w/ a 3.0mm id coil with the Skylines because of their unique juice control sleeve. Seems it's (for me anyway) easier to set them up with a bigger wick.

It was probably your posts that I read most recently about the 29. I don't really want to lower my ohm's, but wonder about the slightly thicker wire, and how it holds up. :|

I typically get 2 to 3 months from the 29g coils. And sometimes at the 3 month mark, the coil is still decent but I'll change it out 'just because'. I started using 29g years back when I switched to rayon from the wicks. The 30g (for me) were fiddly when trying to get a good amount of rayon pulled through the wick. I switched from 30g to 28g but found I needed too many wraps to get up to the Ωs I liked and the coils where 'too big/long' for a nice fit in the attys. That's when I changed to 29g as a good compromise between 30g and 28g coils.

Another night...vaping in the saloon, just listening to the stories with the crowd, thinking of the young times that I remember.

Does anyone have a Marlboro Light recipe :?:
I haven't messed with tobacco flavors in years but some in my family still vape them and the shop where I normally get my flavor closed for good :(

I was thinking TFA Red Type Blend 3% to 5%, VG/PG 50/50 and a drop of Super Sweet per every 10 mil
