I needed to re-bottle Nicotine today, what I had to do was mix them at a 50/50 mix, then bottle them in 50 ML bottles, and purge with argon.

Mixing started.

Ready to purge, when the candle in the corner goes out. I can then cap them.

​

That took me about 5 hours, I don't think I will have to do that again for a while.

That, sir, is a job well done. A job worth doing is worth doing right but 99% of the people will take shortcuts. For a non-lab setting, that is pretty impressive.

Tonight I dug out my AW cells which have been sitting at storage charge...most have lost only .02V since 10/2018. I have about thirty cells divided between 4 18650 and the rest are 18350 and 18490 about equal numbers. my current batch are still OK, but I figured I'd run the ones I have been hoarding while the getting is still good.

Since they don't have any cycles on them, I figure they should be good to go for a couple of years, so I might be good with my ProVi's for another two to three years...then I will have to see what is on the market for cells, or decide to hack the chipsets out of my tubes and make box mods with them for whatever cells are on the market at that time...Maybe by then I will cut down on vaping and my REOs mods will suffice, IDK, we'll see what will be in due time.

That is what I have been doing sense I got my first batch of Nicotine, I read everything about long term storage at the time. I all ready had the argon tank, and made the purge tank out of stuff in my basement. I do have some stored in larger bottles, but I prefer the 50 ML ones, because of having to take them in and out of the freezer. That was the last batch of nicotine I will ever buy.

There was a time around 25 years ago, when I would have been interested in that subject mater, not today. It really did not mater to me when ECF started allowing those discussions, but I can see how it would be a problem if the site is being viewed by your employer. I have no time to come here when I am at work, so not a big issue for me, all my posts here are done from home.
