Are places really trying to do in the whole police system? I mean yeah, I'm not the biggest fan of cops but what one EARTH are they going to replace it with? UN troops? Some sort of volunteer militia?

I wouldn't mind the odd citizens' arrest. Especially fi they auction off the cop cars... .No more road RAGE for me it will be all ROAD ACTION. Etc.

I don't know, most people are great. I am sure it will go swimmingly (that text is in green.)

Maybe I am mistaken and it's all gonna be giant ham sandwich.

Or perhaps, maybe they will outsource it? You know. Privatize it.

I keep getting spam about my ability to apply for a congealed weapon which I do not think is accurate. Maybe now is the time to find out.

The husband reported to me Trump said this in response to some sort of socialist/communist activity. "Americans like to walk their dogs not eat them.":lol::lol::lol: It sounds like him. I began laughing and the husband didn't get it, and I was like, "Honey that was the worst dig against Asia possible, they actually DO eat their dogs."

LOL Newsweek confirms it, in answer to the question: "Why are you so afraid of a socialist economy?" I love that guy sometimes.....

I opened the email. This is what is inside:

VALID AND RECOGNIZED IN 70% of the USA? That grade comes out to a C or if you are unlucky a C minus.

I don't believe I will be seeing my "Concealed carry today," Or like ever, probably. I am way too absent minded to carry a gun let alone conceal it.

Also if you are a concealed carry holder? Do you get in trouble for an accidental "reveal"? Liked if I shoved it on the front of my jeans like would I get in trouble if I raised my arms UP HIGH and she little kids in the lunch line saw it.

Too many questions. Plus, I don't think they TRAIN you and I need TRAIING. The last thig I need is conceal a gun without properly knowing how..

I AM glad I opened the email and now it is time for my chores, as promised..

CCW classes will indeed train you on proper firearm safety. If you are complete novice they may have you take a firearms safety course first, it can vary state to state. A big part of the CCW course I took was dedicated to safe handling, storage and carry stuff, then there was a lot of material dealing with your legal responsibilities and possible liabilities of using a weapon in self defense, then there was the range requirements that had to be met.
Just because you defend yourself doesn't mean there won't be legal repercussions, a lot depends on exactly what laws are relevant in the jurisdiction your are in...it's not something to be taken lightly in any way, shape or form.

Edit: After re reading that add, it seems like a rip off, or at least a very irresponsible company, if you are in any way interested in this stuff, find a local range that offers training courses, there should be tons of options, and most good ranges will have courses from beginner to advanced stuff available.

No it looked insane to me, I just enjoy reading ads like these. I am actually a pretty good shot, my husband trained me and now my fine motor tremor is better I don't even need to brace.

I am also a FINE strategist. Like, I took my kid to laser tag, and I was like, "I bet I can uh, beat all these little monsters." I mapped the area until I came across the enemy "base" and shot it gaining a BUNCH of points. I then noted like, it RESET every 90 seconds or so, and I was up high in the balcony area. This is because I was like, certain there had to be an enemy base. So I hung out up there and picked all the little kids off from above as they were confusingly running around trying to kill each other while the base reset, and etc.

The kid owed me five bucks and his pride was quite hurt. I also won by like, 1 million points..

IDK you got to do that to your kid every once in a while, and strategy is my THIING. Plus, the kid remembered who was boss.

I felt NO SHAME at all because I thought it through explored the area, and decided on my angle. When it comes to strategy I am PRETTY good which is why no one who knows me for long will play any sort of card game with me.

The younger brother INVENTED one based on Algebra and I am pretty good at algebra so the second game, I beat him. He was disgruntled.

One fine new year night I informed my mother that Skip-bo was not a game of chance in the slightest, but of mathematical knowledge and discard piles. She did not believe me, so I beat her 20 times in a row. Now she won't play Skip-bo with me either.

Strategy is analyzing rules and then finding ways to creatively break them without actually so doing. Lateral thinking, Drives people nuts.

But no I feel NO need whatsoever to cart a gun around with me and I lived in dangerous places, like the park I took my kid o across the street all the time, there was a body dump at least 2 x a month. My thought was not "OH my GOD" but rather, so I'm not gonna hang out there at night.

The scariest place I ever worked was at John's Hopkins and that was because we were off campus and one of the few operational buildings. I mean, I started in the winter time but like, once spring came people... emerged from their caves and it got scary. It was not the addicts I knew that scared me, but the ones I DIDN'T. I mean the had security guards who would walk you to your car if it was night. I left cuz that Hopkins student got shot and my husband begged me to.

I forget who wrote this book about how not to be a victim some famous security guy. He said the best thing you could do was project an attitude of non-victimhood at all times, and to fight like hell if you ever got in a situation. Like, fight as if you are gonna die because you were probably going to, otherwise.

I do yoga my game of twister does not need improvement.

If you are asking me if I am above "accidental "OH MY GOD I'M SO SORRY ARE YOU OKAY? I had NO CLUE it was that part of you..... Oh..... You fell though, bummer for you!" actions however, I most certainly am not. LOL.

Kentucky's course was very similar with a 'shoot' at the end to see if any of the safe handling messages stuck.

Happy news! Since we been here more than a year, we only have to give 30 days notice not 3 months, that should make my life easier. The husband also heard good news on the sale front I guess people are swarming to the desert due to COVID? Hopefully we can sell the house before we move, and hopefully we can move together. That all would be nice. We shall see. Feeling a SMIDGE less frantic.

Oh the husband gave me mortgage figures and we might be able to buy right away only we'd need a co-signer. My mom is not going to do it. This isn't out of spite, she knows what happens when you co-sign a loan .The husband says he's gonna ask his mom. I told him to ask his aunt, she likes him way better, LOL.

I would love to just buy a dang house, not do the "Rent" step. It's motivating, quite honestly. Still doing Anna rehab. First, I am gonna look at some house porn on Zillow. Heh.

Maybe this is all gonna work out been living ni AZ so long, I forgot what that was like.
