Oh wait... It's been a thing since like 2018. I am so behind. Apparently, "special" kids like gaming too, "With or without intellectual disabilities."
I guess if you are missing like two lower limbs but are otherwise fine, you could get pretty good at video games, although I tend to consider it like more of a parenting thing.
In some ways: you keep you kids nice and occupied well, less screen time, they suck, YOU WIN!!
They have good hand to eye coordination and fast reflexes, passed down
through the generations-- you win!
I was always annoying parents by saying that Minecraft time was educational in so many ways it did not actually count as screen time. I did point out that the kid had to actually PREFER to play Minecraft during the free time, not Killers seeking prostitutes in fast cars version 14 UNTIL their screen time was up, but they genuinely had to be like, leading a league and stuff and interacting with other kids cooperatively and it only counted half.
I also pointed out I was not that child's parent, and would now add, "And apparently I didn't do the greatest with MINE all the time, as he has most recently reminded me." LOL.
