A tale of two...
I don't like videos of babies that sing. I ALSO did not enjoy the video clip of the kid in the car that was like, high as a kite and the parents egged it on. I don't know quite how it became this internet THING but I remember thinking "those parents should be fined, IDK something. Not quite CPS worthy, but social media is a plague.
I mean when I got the chicken pox SO BAD (OH IT WAS BAD) and there was not an inch of my tiny skin that was not A RASH OF DEATH they put me in underpants and made me twirl around. While, perhaps it should be sent to medical schools as "This is what can happen to your kid if you don't vaccinate maybe and I would consent to that, it's almost unplayable now. Which is just freaking FINE with me.
I mean, I ITCHED like crazy, I scratched until I bled. I was lucky I wound up with one tiny scar in my eyebrow that only increases my.... I don't even know what to call it but its not ugly.
I STILL remember what that felt like. MY TREATMENT WAS CALOMINE LOTION.
All parents do this somehow? Like, um, "My kid looks like it is going to die let's make it twirl around like a freaking poodle and video tape it! It's exploitative.
I did not do that to my kid. Plenty of other sins but I did not (even if I could have) set him up with a social media page before birth. What is wrong with people? Speaking of that NO BIRTH VIDEOS for me.
OMG that is like the worst thing that can happen to your privates, not to mention your kid looks like a freaking alien, you POOP in the middle of it, OMG YES LET ME PLEASE HAVE A VIDEO OF THAT which ME AND MY CHILD can WATCH like every birthday!! INSANE.
Also period parties: I'm sorry that is almost CPS worthy. I know of NO TEEN GIRLS who are bleeding for the first time who want balloons, a cake in the shape of a menstrual pad with like, M&Ms on it, to represent the Advil.
I would reluctantly ACCEPT Eminem coming and rapping for me, like about how life was so hard all up in my ah, I will use the word ":grill" but I would have also PREFERRED you know maybe ANOTHER time where like, things we not so dark, dude, and we could have maybe fooled around a bit. I'm not sure I coulda gone all the way with Eminem his girlfriend sounded NUTS but some fooling around without cramps might have been pleasant.
I apologize for where that went, sorta. BLAME DPL and the baby.
Also, I just got my WV DL you can pry me out of this state with like, a giant CROWBAR and I also feel I am going to need to be careful because I ALSO have PMS and in this state, you cam say stuff you really mean (WHATEVER it is) and not get shunned. Really. It's just.. it's like that.
I still blame DPL though. Oh oh... here comes KAT. LOL.

I do give up caffeine on psych units where ONE patient a year might want it but like, also NOT be willing to not have it and it was a PROBLEM. So, it never exists and let me tell you I have encountered approximately 0 psych patients who think it's fair but they still DO it because they SUCK.
The psych unit patients universally return to caffeine but sometimes with enough like negative reinforcement they ah, keep taking their meds.
So don't you be messing with the delicate balance it's been 15 years, I do not wish to return. It's 4 am messing with me and my NEWFOUND citizenship, in the land of WV. I mean... it was a long day.

If attending a period party is the 'new normal' for what it means to 'have lived',... well, I have never lived, I will never live, I don't want to live and hope that I never know anyone who has ever lived.
I will add to that party list, I will never be invited to and, if I am ever unfortunate enough to know someone who would invite me then I will not attend a 'gender reveal' party.
