I just ran into these AWs for 30% off when added to cart. I wonder what they'd be like.

Edit: Okay, these may not be part of the sale . But, still curious if they'd still fire up.

But even if someone was willing to risk buying them ... what are you really getting ... the picture of the 18650s shows button tops ... but the description says flat tops ... and if they're authentic they've got to be very old stock.

I cracked open the plastic wrap on a couple AW 18490's for my wife to take with her while visiting our daughter out west for baby #3. She's getting nearly a day out of each one. They were some fine batteries and apparently have a good shelf life!

I agree. I don't presume to tell others what to use but my 10 yo aw batts are still lasting fairly well and the ones I bought 2 years ago are doing well. I am not concerned about it. I will use them as long as they work and then move on.

I've still got some 18500's waiting to join the rotation of batteries, maybe even a couple 18650's. I figure I have another year or two of life in my stash of AW's. After that, shrugs, will figure it out then with whatever I can find...

Well, I guess you can use a pass through if you don’t mind carrying your laptop around with you.

If you act quickly, VapinArt still has the Russian 91% atomizer at a reduced price. Those were great old school atomizers. Looks really nice on a Provari.
    Russian 91%
But a pain the rear to learn how to refill!

This is probably the most trivial post I can remember making, but whatever.

I'm not sure how many here are builders and how many use prebuilt coils. If you're a builder, I just saw something that you need.

Even though I know to be careful, I have broken the point off the tip on a ceramic tweezer more times than I'd like. It's a shame to throw the thing away but I found out a while back you don't have to. They are not common, but some sites sell just the tips by themselves.

I used to buy a fair amount of stuff from 101vape in California and for some reason I made a nostalgia pass to their site today. They are running a 75% off sale for any remaining stock. There is almost nothing left - but those tweezer tips are still there. After the discount, they're 99 cents for a pair with screws and nuts. Much cheaper than buying a new tweezer. To find the site, just add the dot and the com at the end of their name.

Thus ends this venture into totally miniscule stuff and I will slink back into my corner.

oops ... scroll down ... says screws are not included

    Ceramic Tweezer Replacement Tips

You are exactly right and I didn't notice that. I'd bought the kit from them before and it was just like the picures and included the hardware. FWIW, as long as you have a small phillips that fits the screws correctly I've just used the original ones with no problems at all.

Is there a vaper who DOESN'T have a Costco level supply of screwdrivers, keys, wire, tweezers, and enough cotton or rayon to start a small shirt factory?
