Any body have a Billet Box, and put a clear wrap on it?

I did, OP, and it didn't work out too well. That was on a Rev3 though, which were very different (and wraps were ESSENTIAL on the polished ones).

Personally, I'd never consider wrapped the anodized ones (but I'm also not overly sensitive to scratched mods).

Good thing too, because... ("Dr. Destructo")

Thanks DP. :)

My pleasure, OP. IF you decide to try it, I'd probably say try ones VaporSkinz has because they're 3M. Both companies put out good not-clear ones though.

The VSkinz ones cover the sides with one piece, for a more complete coverage. J uses four pieces so each corner is exposed.

This is a VS on my raw/polished (that has been put through the ringer for 4'ish years).

Do the J wraps do any damage to the mods - I have been tempted to get a few but wasn't sure if they are easily removed.

VERY easy to remove, and no residual anything. They make quality wraps, for sure!

Sometimes I think I should have been born in the USA - a great history of fine engineering - Provari and my Kitchen Aid mixer are two of my great loves - The mixers are very expensive here, by the time I bought the attachments it was around $1500 but I figure (hope) it will outlast me :)

$1500 for a Kitchen Aid? Yikes! However, having YIKE'D, I do believe it will outlast most any other. I put mine thru torture every December, and it still hums and doesn't miss a beat.

(get it?)

Very kind of you to let it rest 11/12 of every year.

It think mine was $300-ish but it isn't the top end industrial model.

Great mixer, but too big and heavy. It is relegated to our small appliance graveyard cupboard for 51 weeks per year. It comes out at Christmas for my wife's baking and that's it.

I very, very carefully snag a few seconds here or there, and I save them all up until Nov/Dec. (I store them in a time capsule, just by the way.) ;)

I use mine all the time, it simply stays out on the counter, mine is extremely heavy but it's the professional kitchen aid... I make all my bread homemade, hamburger buns etc all from scratch, plus the occasional cake etc. We also attend (and cook for) every pot luck at church, as well as the pot lucks at work and various large family gatherings, so it gets a work out.. but it stands up to everything, it's an awesome machine.

I inherited my grandmas and being the idiot in my 20s gave it to the Goodwill. I had no clue until years later how expensive they were. My Grandma always had it on the counter also. She made everything by scratc and used that monster constantly. My mom was furious when she found out what I did with it.

I'm sure she was! But Lord knows we were all young and dumb once! Hahaha..
