Heard this on my way home, it's been a long time.

Reminds me of one of my favorite bands which is going to sound like I'm stuttering - The Band. Very simple music which evoked a different time. I always felt like I needed to be sitting on the porch of an old farmhouse in the woods when I listened.

I've seen many concerts over the years. One of the best was seeing The Band in the summer of 1976. I have all their albums, including the collaborations with Dylan, and still enjoy listening to them.

I bought the brown album when it was released, and the first online music i ever bought was The Last Waltz concert.

One of the best concert recordings of The Band is this one from the Carter Baron Amphitheater in Washington DC, 1976 (King Biscuit Flower Hour Radio Show). It was widely available as a bootleg for years.

1. Don't Do It 00:34
2. The Shape I'm In 05:43
3. It Makes No Difference 09:52
4. The Weight 17:16
5. King Harvest 22:11
6. Twilight 25:58
7. Ophelia 29:27
8. Tears Of Rage 33:15
9. Forbidden Fruit 39:14
10. This Wheel's On Fire 45:27
11. The Night They Drove Old Dixie Down 49:28
12. The Genetic Method 53:32
13. Chest Fever 57:29
14. Up On Cripple Creek 1:02:01
15. W.S. Walcott's Medicine Show 1:07:56

The date is wrong on the YT artwork. It was either July 16 or 17, 1976.

ETA: just restart the video from the beginning, somehow yours truly messed up

I come from a musical family. Started playing instruments (piano, sax and guitar) at a very young age. Around 13-14 I was mostly into all the music my older brother was playing. He had a really decent record collection. My first concerts were when I was 14 (1974). At that age my parents would only let me go if my older brother took me. I went to several with him and his friends until I turned 15. When I hit 15 I was allowed to go concerts without my brother.
