"For my life still ahead, pity me."

I was a huge Queen fan in their early years. Queen I and Queen II still rank in my top 10 of all time. Sheer Heart Attack was pretty good too. Then I got A Night at the Opera and it was horrid. That one got frisbeed in the woods. Queen just got worse from there. Such a disappointment.

Okay I heard a version of from another band, it was not very good. I knew I had heard a better version of it, I did not know it was the carpenters that I remembered, oh well here it is anyway. :|

KAS

Seriously, is there a better female voice than Karen Carpenter? Chrissy Hynde is another incredible voice but even she isn’t close. Karen Carpenter is in a league all her own. A once in a lifetime talent.

thanks. One of the best songs, and maybe bands, in my short life.

Oh yeah, love me some Steely Dan!!!

I think Steely Dan's best live album is "Touring 2K". It was recorded live at the Hammersmith Odeon, London, UK on 10 September 2000. The backing band is a who's who of studio cats.

A buddy of mine gave me a copy of the 2cd set. It was never released via retail. The audio is direct from the outputs of the mixing console. Bootleg. But excellent quality.

I agree about the first two albums, but you waited until NOW to tell me that this thing I've been enjoying for 4-5 decades sucks???

Gee, Bronze. Thanks. Thanks a LOT. ;)

Screw it. I'll just keep enjoying it anyway.
