Like the bike, first I've heard of the shaft drive, but then I'm not up on these things anymore.

how would you compare the riding experience in one of those vs the regular ones?
i just saw that these bikes can have gears too.
why did you take a shaft drive bike instead of the chain one?

Thank you oplholik !!! Though never common, the shaft-drive technology has been around almost as long as bicycles have been around. The earliest picture I've seen of a shaft-drive bike was from around 1900.

I love it because no concerns about messy greasy chains or persnickety considerations for gear and chain alignments or "doing the math" to get from a high gear to low gear or low to high quickly and smoothly. Much like the synchronized transmission of a manual automobile, you can shift the gear of a shaft-drive bicycle at any speed and at any time ... even sitting still.

Doesn't mean I don't also love my Schwinn Classic Supreme. In fact, the Schwinn is the more comfortable, while not as smoothly operating. I prefer the Schwinn's lines, frame proportions, lower ground clearance and ergonomics to some degree. But at the end of the day, I generally hop on the shaft-drive first and would keep it over the Schwinn just for practicality and efficiency.

Yep, excellent bikes. Which one do you have gin? How long to break in that Brooks Brother's seat?
I have a Raleigh that was made here from 25 years ago because, well, it was made here.

on topic:
did any of you ever had any issue with a provari 510 ?
mine got scratched from the kfl center pin which has a tiny dent from adjusting it with the screw driver(i probably should sand it a bit),any how it seems the 510 pin on the provari is softer than my other mods, because i don't see them getting too affected by this.
just worried it gets chewed too much.

Mine have been through some :censored:, and they're all perfect except for one. That one is a Ti, with a P3 cap. The slanted tops are as tough as anything I own.

Raleigh is a great bike. First girlfriend I ever had, owned a Raleigh. I thought that bike and her were the shizzle. Seemed I always had something to work on for her ;)

Interesting history on the Raleigh. An English bike, was only made in the U.S. by Huffy and then a German company when they bought the Raleigh U.S. rights from Huffy. Then a Dutch company bought out Raleigh. Those companies also involved China in it along the way. And the song plays on.

... and now 2.5's are going new on the bay for $150 to well over $200 !!!

What was the lowest price for 2.5's ProVape ever offered them at? ... I recall the Mini 2.5's briefly at $29.95 (maybe last ones at $19.95?) ... don't I? ... maybe the regular 2.5's too.

That's wild... I think the last ones we got were $20. None will leave. They're the ultimate insurance for me (no can do mechs).

I think that "Fat Boy" might look good on top of a Radius. And the extra ml's sure wouldn't hurt. But could be a cracked tank waiting to happen if you're all thumbs, butterfingered or the cat tips it over. Think I'll try it ... I don't have a cat.
My Fat Boys came in today, got one setup on a P3, looks kinda like the robot from the space show with the quirky family in it from the sixties  I filled it up using my usual add a few drops till I see the donut of juice well up, and drew it out with a syringe, this Kabuki has 5 full mls of juice and seems to vape exactly the same as the regular glass. At least to my non expert experience... I always lay my ProVari's down, and when out and about they are either in the cupholder with dense foam seperators or in my belt holster, so I don't fret about breakage, but I am impressed at the greatly increased volume capacity that the fat boy offers and at about three bucks a pop, I'm going to be getting a few more of them.

The twist 'n burp the coil things works great with it as well ;)

My first coil build from scratch, free handed in place on the ZA-U. Well, tried a ceramic build earlier but didn't and don't have the right size wire. 400x400 mesh 32gage Kanthal. Think it came out okay. Think the wick is ideal distance from the bottom too. Wicking nicely. Coil is lined up perfectly with the display on the Procyon. When in place, the hole in the top cap is centered on the coil. I'm not a throat hit guy. Got lucky all round. Happy with it.

Continued to use the ZA-U on the Procyon today as the new mesh and coil settle in. Taste has improved. More mellow.

The draw is kind of quirky. It likes a cigar/pipe like draw as Zen pointed out in his video ... but that's a little quirky for this MTLer. So ya know what, I decided to try the boost feature on the Procyon. I'd never felt a need to use boost on a Kabuki with a modern drop in coil, but wanted to try it on the ZA-U to see if I could get a nice normal MTL draw similar to a drop in coil. SOooo ... 1.8@7.2W and Boost #2 ... that's the sweet spot for me going in. So dang good.

Some of you guys have been using or have used the Z Atty for several years and have your preferences dialed in ... or moved on long ago. I'm still working on it ... but think I found it. I get it !!! Hints, tips, shared experience appreciated. And again a special thank you to @Zen Knitter for "leading a horse to water" and sharing preference and experience. Much appreciated.
