I kept my old Argus C3 with the manual, a before the wall came down Exacta, and a Minox mini spy camera, the rest of my film cameras are gone, dropped them off at a thrift store and figured they'd wind up in the right hands. I love to look at the old stuff, they were mechanical works of art!

The photo really caught my eye though, great character and a poignant shot, real life stuff captured and preserved.
I agree about the photo's and I felt the same way about the earlier one with Hobbs considering (LOL) tasting the Tequila.
So, who took the shots? Nicely done.

There was a time I was seriously considering Dicodes, still would love to have an 18650 device from them, but the same reasons you stated steered me away.

I chose to go down the ProVari path and REOs mods path because both were quality domestic makers. I invested heavily in product from both, acquiring new, and second hand gear when the price was right. There are a few other mods like the ZNA Lite, and the Jac DNA75 that I have to play with, and someday, if I see the right Dicodes device on the secondary market, I'll probably snag one, timing and funds available that is. They look so solid and have such a clean look to them.
Of regulated tube mods, that's the best looking one I've see. But, mamamia, quite a price. Maybe when a couple of my vari's give up the ghost. Of course, my first one is now 3 yrs old and going strong.

I have no need for anything larger than an 18650 which holds a useful charge for several days and low wattage vaping. But I think Dicodes stuff is sa-weet no matter the size. Still don't have any hands-on though.

Lots of people have no problems with an 18650 lasting, so I must spend lots of time chain vaping because I go through two 18650's a day on a provari and I would love that dicodes 25 with the larger battery.. that sold me the second he was talking about battery life..

:sigh: gotta start saving my pennies now!

That tight wrap really is ideal for a pull 'n snip setup. But yeah, could be a little more prone to dry hit than a typical Z Atty coil build if chained ... because it heats juice in a more concentrated area?
that's why the tapered wick, got to leave room for the juice to get right up to the deck, like i said, when all is working right, hits like a train and can be chain vaped till dry, screw it up and have the wick too thick in the channel, it can lock up on ya, and there you go, dry hit...truth be told, it's been a long time since I had one act up since I learnt to tweek my builds like am doing, last night and today went through two tanks smooth as silk and vaped 'em both down to the dregs without a glitch. the fresh coil is hitting particularly good, now I need to take one of my top caps and punch out the air hole just a tiny bit to get it to where I want it...I do like to fiddle about with these things though ;)

Thanks NY13 !!! Unless I post a photo credit, I took the shots. All I have is a little Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-RX100 point 'n shoot. The Tequila one was on a self timer. Of course I didn't take the original of my great aunt sometime in the 1930's LOL, but there's a credit stamp pictured on the photo holder for that.

Okay, so riddle me this.

Why is it that I can vape a Z Atty 1.8ohm @ 7.4W and get the same volume and density of vape as I do with a Kabuki using a drop in Aspire 1.8ohm @ 9.4W ... but ... (and this is riddling me) ... I can't vape the same Kabuki at 7.4W (too cold for me) nor the same Z Atty @ 9.4W (too hot for me).

All the vape charts I find seem to bear this out. 7.4W is top of the green (ideal) range for 1.8ohm.
And the 1.8ohm Aspire coil is rated at 4.2V-5.0V as printed on the side of the coil. That works out to 9.8W-13.89W.

SOooo, how is 1.8ohm different from 1.8ohm? Is there an obvious answer or too much science?

Disclaimer: "Same volume and density" is subjective and basely solely on personal observation while not actually measured in any way other than senses.

You gots to consider chamber size, chamber shape, airflow, efficiency of the coil and wick system...lots of variables and also personal interpretation of the experience. Other differences are coil diameter, number of wraps, wire size, so heat flux, and whether the coil is wicked internally or externally, the number of differentiating factors is extraordinary, so, take one attie, and see what you like and don't like about it, and determine which factors you can adjust to vary your experience with that attie. Some atties are more prone to user adjustment for a better experience, other atties are more limited in what one can do to enhance or degrade the experience.

I just read in the Deeming thread that the FDA is delaying almost everything, until like 2022 or something. I was really getting depressed about the results of that court battle being lost. I feel a lot better about the future now. I am not going to stop stocking up on what I can, but it seems like I will have more time to do so. :)

I also just got this in a E-mail. :)

Vape is saved. Deeming dead?
