As is. Tried (virtually) EVERY off the shelf tobacco ejuice ... even virtually every flavoring from Bull City Vapor for DIY. None NONE came even close to what I'd smoked in any way shape or form. I tried some foofoo flavors too. Never enjoyed smoking fruit, bakery products, candy or desserts, and don't enjoy vaping them either. SOooo unflavored it is or not at all.
None of the tobaccos will ever taste like the real deal, they more resemble the smell you get when you open a fresh pack. I'm a mostly tobacco flavor guy, and use them at rather low percentages. I actually like non flavored eliquid too. Once I let a store owner try non flavored, because he said he had never tasted it, he didn't like it, told me it reminded him of a light cig lol.

I can taste the difference between 12mg and 18mg, besides 18mg have slightly more throat hit. Unflavored has a pretty strong slightly sweet chemical taste (the PG I'm guessing) that took a bit of getting used to but is rather muted at lower wattage I vape at and much more present at higher wattage has been my experience. OH ... one other thing about my experience with tobacco flavors ... whenever I did get around to cracking the tank open to replace a coil, THAT smell reminded strongly STRONGLY of smoking. Smelled like nasty stale cigarettes. Stank !!!

... and I never get vapers tongue vaping unflavored I don't think. But if I do, that's quite okay too. Slightly sweet chemical taste isn't inherently appealing either LOL

I like unflavored too. I don't get a chemical taste. Might be the company that I buy from. I do get that slightly sweet taste.

I do have a NET that I like and switch up between the unflavored and the NET.

Coils do last MUCH longer with unflavored.

Oh and I always shake any of my liquids before dispensing into my tanks. Just something I've always done.

For many on a vape forum, it's a hobby. I get it. And many love to try new flavors and latest and greatest devices. I get it. Truthfully for me, it's all about the nic satisfaction and tactile and sensory experience of smoking and a replacement for a life long addiction. Nothing more and nothing less. Whatever keeps someone from smoking is wonderful and by all means keep doing what you're doing !!! Each of us is the same, just different ;)

My only switch up is either 12mg or 18mg. Sometimes I NEED that kick. Other times the kick is too much for the amount of vape time I want to enjoy, and have to tone it down before nic overload. Still, my guess is that I only vape between about 2-3-5ml a day depending on "need" or situation/circumstance and 5 isn't routinely at all.

For me it also about just not smoking. It's also about not spending a lot of money on trying different liquids or devices.

I did spend a fair amount on stocking up my backups but now that ProVape is closed, that temptation is gone. I figure if each of these ProVari last at least 5 years, I'm set for at least 35 years. That would put me at least 82 years old. ;)

The KFLs should have that much longevity so I'm pretty set. :)

I like a little difference too. A little unflavored, a little menthol, or a little strawberry, or a mix.

And I always ask it to be shaken.

Awesome Robin !!! :)
The last 15 years I smoked, I made my own. And for the last 10 while retired, I made them one at a time from a tray on the kitchen counter on my way outside to smoke. I live alone but didn't like that smell in the house.

The way I made my smokes cost me sixty-seven cents a pack. Because they were unmanufactered analogs, the tobacco wasn't subject to taxes. I would buy 12 pounds of pure whole leaf tobacco at a time ... no filler or chemicals added whatsoever ... and 30 cartons of tubes with filters made into each tube. The result looked EXACTLY store bought. Smoked the same too. I'm not talking about roll your own or using dope apparatus. The result looked store bought. Since I had to buy whole leaf, I have a huge tobacco shredder and an air tight 7 gallon humidity controlled storage bucket. I tried both electric and mechanical cigarette making machines and found I preferred mechanical. If I was going to be away for an extended time, it only took me about 5 minutes to make a pack. I could post a link where I bought all my stuff but don't think it would be appropriate or perhaps even acceptable.

The bottom line is that out of pocket cost for smoking was never a consideration for wanting to quit. Not even remotely. I could just see and feel the health impact and while even that didn't concern much when younger, it became more compelling as I got a bit older.

Good stuff !!!
I don't have any 100% nic stored, all mine is already mixed in 50/50 PG/VG (unflavored).
Thinking out loud: So my question is ... do ingredients settle out? When filling smaller containers from larger containers, is it a good idea to shake the larger container up if it hasn't been opened in a month or so?
I always do, but wondered if it was necessary. I get mine from Nicotine River and don't recall seeing a label warning to "shake before using" ... maybe I should email them.
I always shake the bottle in which I mix my juice before filling the smaller bottle I use to fill my tank and I shake that bottle too before filling the tank. I read somewhere that it may not be necessary for the nic but I can't find an answer for the flavors...so shake it is.

I feel the same way and I too have 7 Provaris. I know there are lots of people who have been using one for 5+ years but when I was trying to decide what I needed for my 20 year life expectancy I counted on 4 years each of 5 to be on the safe side. The other two are my special ones...the red one (my favorite that a kind person gifted me :wub::wub: ) and the pink ribbon and I only use those on special occasions :).

100% nic?!!! I don't think so! We're not even allowed to talk about anything over 10% nic (100 mg/ml).
We are allowed to discuss up to 20% , or 200 mg/ml as per the rules. 100 mg/ml is the most commonly available dilution seen for sale though.

WoW !!! Quickest response ever. Was outside a few minutes with the dogs, came back inside and found this ...

Hi Hobbs,

It’s not necessary that you shake it, but it is recommended to ensure the product is mixed thoroughly. Thank you so much!
