Well, everyone already said what I was going to, so instead I'll leave you with this thought, which was posted on one of my friend's Facebook pages.

"I rode to the liquor store yesterday on my bicycle...
I bought a bottle of Rum and put it in the bicycle basket.
As I was about to leave I thought for a moment, if I fell off the bicycle the bottle would fall out of the basket and break.
To avoid that, I drank all of the rum before I left the store.
It turned out to be a very good decision, because I fell off the bike seven times on my way home"
Hahahaha!

Happy Birthday, dahling Willy, wherever you may be. :bday:
Funny you should bring him up. He hasn't been around since last May. I hope all's well in his life.

What wattage or voltage do we like to vape 1.2ohm hand built coils at?

Just got some 28ga kanthal and built a ceramic wick for the Z Atty. Came out to 1.2ohms with 4-5 wraps. 1.2 is lower than I like. I have some 29 and 30 gauge on the way and will have to play around with wire and wraps, to hit my sweet spot (1.8ohm) on a ceramic stick.

In the meantime, I'm at 15W (4.24V, 3.54A) on 1.2ohm 28ga coil ceramic wick in the Z Atty topping an LG HG2 18650 in a Provari Procyon. Am I even in the ballpark? Seems to be okay but wonder what your experience is or comments are. Thanks !!!

I would personally try like eight wraps and see where that lands...experiment, vape, analyse, and experiment some more till you find YOUr sweet spot. I like a cooler vape, so more wraps and slowly working up the power to get it where I want it is how I proceed. 4/5 wraps with 28ga can be pretty hot from my experience, and more prone to getting a hot leg on the coil.

9 wraps with a 2.5 mm id will put you in the 1.8 range depending on leg length.
