I had a friend who had a similar experience, I never went to see it.
So it finally thawed up down Main?

ENAUD- “Exorcist?” Or “The Entity?”?. I've never seen the former, although I recall the 1973 hype easily. I just skimmed through ”Entity” having prior familiarity with the true story the novel had been based on via Dr Barry Taff, his classic ”Coast to Coast” radio broadcasts. I can't help wonder how Art Bell is going to choose to be around next. I don't know if he's been (buried, cremated)memorialized yet. Keep the light off for him.

I put myself through college as night FM broadcaster, Art Bell was a legend, high power station had his voice over the air waves from US south west through south pacific. Technology’s limitations: Broadcast is regional. Mainland US has things called Rocky Mountains and radio waves (like Star Trek communicators, 21st cent cell phones)don't like mountains!
When will we get smarter tech???
Short waves travel farther, especially the side band, no?
I grew up and lived most of my life in New Hampshire, By shortwave I was referring to the 49-25 meter bands...I grew up listening to Boston Ma And Worchester MA radio stations, especially the college stations. The AM station most listened to by my family was WBZ Boston...I can't get it here in NC because a local station is hammering away on the same frequencyMost FM band frequencies are SW. I worked eons ago on the networks AM side also (AM is long wave).
Many factors above & beyond amplitude effect range.
We're you on the W or K side of the nation? (east or west of big muddy?)

yup. But, squirrels don't get the same response. Go figure.Wow, mention Satan and this thread lights up!![]()
As a kid, a transistor radio when I was supposed to be going to sleep led me to many nights listening to WBZ. One strong signal for me to enjoy Yastremski and Esposito in Detroit. WBZ and KMOX in St Louis were clear as a bell on my 9 volt Panasonic!I grew up and lived most of my life in New Hampshire, By shortwave I was referring to the 49-25 meter bands...I grew up listening to Boston Ma And Worchester MA radio stations, especially the college stations.
