Picked up my new to me old bicycle yesterday, it's an old school Trek 800 mountain/ track bike. The frame has hardly a scuff on it and the guy at the shop had replaced all the cables tires and seat and brakes. Our new neighborhood has a nice huge oval layout that is nice and level and it makes a nice size track, I'm going to measure it with my car today and lay out an excercising program for myself. I'm even going to keep a journal to measure my progress as I increase the distance over time. After doing three laps yesterday I realized how much I need to build up some stamina and endurance before I start hitting any trails in the parks around here.

Good plan. When I first walked I definitely felt it. It takes some building up to.

And I totally understand. I used to love riding down to the beach, then up and down the beach. I've had more than one near bicycle collisions. ;)

It is dangerous to drive down the center of the University of Kentucky, so much so that they closed road. (Actually the closing was due to the expansion of the medical center but my story is more fun to tell.)

It isn't as pretty as what Hobbs fixes with the fancy china instead of a plastic bowl doomed to the recycle bin, but it fills the hole.
Thanks cats !!! Those plates are antique but they aren't china. They were my grandmother's every day plates. Homer Laughlin Palette Ware. Back in the day, 1950's, they were the inexpensive stuff. I have several items from my grandmother's kitchen I use most every day. Heck, my toaster is a shiny steel Sunbeam toaster made in 1959 from my grandmother's kitchen. Made when stuff was built to last. Still works flawlessly.

I have the exact same toaster from my Grandma's kitchen too. A little barkeeper's friend returns it to the 1959 shine. And it just keeps working and working and working.

Next Step for Bronze: A yoga class. LOL, can't lose. You won't be able to do many of the poses, you may fart (loudly and noticeably) but you will be surrounded by flexible, hot chicks.

Try to hold in the fart, but it's likely not going to be possible, but the view is usually AWESOME. LOL.

I'd break doing yoga. But yes I would enjoy the view. :)

When I think about it %
Never paid much attention to battery percentage. Honestly, I change and recharge well before drain. Mostly around 50%. But it's more like "just works out that way" than my striving to monitor and target a certain percentage.

I wear dark glasses at the beach, to protect me from my wife! How do they know where you are looking even with shades on?

I don't know how they do it. At that point in my life I was single, so no problems there. :)
