Just heard from Provari Bill. Here is what he said:

"The only information I have is that the domain name was sold. The original ProVape company does not have plans to reopen. I will likely keep doing repairs on the side."

The last line is the best :).

Sent Bill my well worn 2.5 for window repair and a P3 for version update. Glad to know he will still be available.

Here's one for the Provarinati:
My Radius is misbehaving. It started a few weeks ago when I realised that the battery wasn't lasting very long. I could charge it of an evening, use it for a little while and next morning it would give me a few puffs and then die on me. At first I thought the battery was past it's useful life and replaced it with another LG HG2. The same occured. Using a third HG2, the same again. Then I put in a brand new Samsung 30Q, this lasted a little longer, but not much.
My thoughts are now veering towards sending it to Provari Bill but even before he replaces anything it'll cost $30 base charge and $20 x2 postage. Do any of you have experience of a similar problem and the costs involved? A new PCB for a faulty controler chip seems to me to be a possibility.

Have you tried charging it with a different cord? I have 3 radiuses (radii?) and was using the same cord to charge all 3 when they just didn't seem to charge/hold a charge. Tried a different micro usb cord (got a ton of them with so many different gadgets around the house) and seemed to fix the problem. It would be more of a hassle, but if you have an external charger you could try charging them in that to see if there's any improvement. Good luck!

We've relocated a couple of skunks and possums. Only downside is that we've also captured some neighborly cats even though we bated with food cats don't frequently eat. No harm to the kitties, just scary for them.

Some local agency used to give out the traps, but there was often a wait list. They handled that by charging by the day for them -- something like $35 a day.
The good part is that they also pick up the full trap and handle the relocation.

In desperation after we had a skunk spray nightly by our air vent direct to our bedroom, we built our own trap and my hubby relocated him in a hilly and forest area. The critter was so scared, he/she wouldn't leave the trap! I think he threw rocks at it to scare him out of the trap and then the critter scurried off to the trees.

I would pay $35 to have someone relocate Pepe but not $35 a day in case it took more than two...

I'm working on it CJ, thanks for your suggestion. I have two charging cables permanently hanging above my desk, so if it's a faulty cable, I have two!
When I replaced batteries in the mod I automatically recharged them in an external charger and put them back in the tray I keep them in without thinking of them being reconditioned.
I have one of them, which hasn't been recharged in the charger now, (on 0.25 amps), it started at 3.16 volts. This seems a little high for a battery that wouldn't give enough power to vape from. After the tempus has fugited I'll try it in the mod again.

I will 2nd that USB cable problems :?:
I'm on my 3rd set of cables for both my Radius.
Not charging and False full charge. In fact I got one cable that works with my red Radius but won't work with my blue one
Using a Photive 25 Watt, 5 USB ports, Desktop Rapid Charger.

@FringeChief68: I understand the concern over cables however the same problem arises when batteries are re-charged in an external charger. I have a battery in my Radius now that came from the Radius and was subsequently re-charged externally. I'm making use of, for the first time, the puff-counter and I'll compare that to my P3. Who knows? Maybe I'm going doolally. o_O
As an aside, Keith from CdeV gave me a tip, (which I should have been able to work out myself), to do with an erratically functioning USB port. "Pocket lint", he said, so I bought one of these little blower things that photographers use for lens dusting. I use it on all my USB ports and plugs.
Thanks for reacting FC68.
