That first part is amazing.

I have played bass for over 30 years and consider myself a pretty good slapper. To do that on an acoustic guitar with such tight string spacing is an art that takes years of practice. Cool stuff.

When the singing starts? Not so much. LOL.

Japanese music is an acquired taste, plus I think that video is almost 10 years old. There's a clip of just the intro on youtube:

how do you wick yours?the same way Bronze showed?

I quickly looked, I think I use more cotton than bronze. I don't trim mine until I put the chimney on. I hold them up and together then trim just above chimney. Then I use a toothpick to kinda curve then down into place. Juice the coil and cotton, test fire and put everything back together

I guess Hiroshima doesn't really count, does it?

I had the Hiroshima LP with "San Say" on it on vinyl! There is as much variety in Japanese music as anywhere else, I was just trying to avoid calling Miyavi "J-Pop," since he's not that any more than Hiroshima or Ryuichi Sakamoto. (The real name of this song is "Forbidden Colours."

I have eXpromizers...somewhere. Cool beans, they are.
yes.i have 3,i bought them quit cheap recently, when eXvape had a sale because they are not TPD compliant.
the 1.2-1.3 version have only good reviews from everyone(pbusardo,Tood..),and all the users really appreciate them.
they are kind of a mix between the kayfun and Taifun.
big juice channels and a good taste, but i still prefer the kayfun(when it works).

@RadiusNick - I don't know if anyone's done this yet, and will apologize if they have - and I'll also apologize for the horrid coil, but it's been running for a couple of weeks now.

I just keep my wicking as simple as possible (similar to my brain, actually!).

3.0 diameter, 28g coils. Enough KGD cotton (my preference) to fit through. I cut it just enough to drop to the deck (no twidding, playing with it, or ANYTHING). I just wet it up, drop it down, and lightly press it up against the wall.

Chimney on, and vape. Short, sweet, NOT fancy, and quite ugly as time goes by (as evidenced below).

I don't know if this will help, but I hope it does (at least somewhat).

We hit and miss for a bit too, but once we got a groove, it got very easy. I can do it now while talking on the phone, and in a very short time. The early THINKING is what I found to be messing me up. Once I stopped doing that, it just started hitting every time. I figured if I did one that failed, I'd pull it out and re-do it.

That's almost unheard of now, only one year later (we were late bloomers to the game, and only driven to do it by the FDA).

STILL loving my blister-pack coils too.
