Does anyone know any tricks to getting the provape repair service guy to email us back?

I've taken to emailing him monthly, and getting no response in return.. This will be month three of getting ignored, and honestly at this point I'd hang up my hat and give up, but my low battery indicator is no longer working and I have a p3 that is only on v2 in the update region, and I'd like to get fully updated before he stops helping us..

Are there any tricks to getting a return email? I think two full months is really plenty of time..I'm hoping to make it stick this time, with this next email.

That's strange. I've emailed bill several times with no issues getting a reply within a couple days. I know for a bit he was swamped with upgrade requests for p3's. I'll try emailing him again just to see how he's doing. I need a few spare adapters anyway. You can also contact Zen and see what he can do for you. I know he had an updater at one point. The low batt indicator though if your talking about the flash at 10% can be turned off so you might want to check settings.

And nothing lasts forever. Not even Provaris. Their warranty record was very good on Provaris. Few warranty repairs. But they did have to repair them in time. Mine lasted 2 - 3 years before I had to send it in. Some people's mileage may vary but I have to believe if you go past three years of daily use on a new Provari you're on borrowed time. For those who have stock piled Provaris you're in good shape. While I have a few I never hoarded them like I see some do. I figger with technological advances they'll go obsolete before they go bellyup. Of course Deeming makes everything a jump ball.
I have some destined for " others" hands down the road. They were so cheap at the end, it was foolish not to grab a few for a cushion. I've already reached out to one hard luck story, and am prepared to do likewise in the future as well.

I never felt the need to progress beyond the capabilities of the ProVari mods, instead focusing on getting the best bang out of the power they afforded. Oftentimes, I'll get the snarky, " it's a little foggy in hear, don'tchathink!?" From my better half LoL.

Yeah - I was kind of exhausted last night. When I realized what you meant (before I bounced back in), I actually laughed out loud (at myself).

If that's working for you, I'd stick with it. The "flood" has worked very well for me since I began doing it, and the impact has been immediate and discernible.

For the record, with the Kabuki it's almost exactly a one-quarter turn that will raise the bubble. The Nautilus is about the same, but restricts you to that amount you can turn it by design. So with those, I just take them to the limit.

"Save the Coils!" (let's make signs)

An old favorite, just for regurgitated laughter >

So how would that work with the Triton Mini? Never mind...

Speaking of which, Jackie likes her Triton Mini and likes using the Clapton 1.8 coil with it. I bought a couple of 5 packs of the Clapton 1.8's a while ago to try with our Kabuki's and her Nautilus Mini. She tried one and gave the pack to me but, like I typed, likes it with the Triton Mini. Hmmm.

Speaking of which, I am trying said Clapton 1.8 for the first time with Kabuki and after it breaks in, I actually like it. Think I'll stick with the BVC's 1.8's cause it doesn't really matter to me except that I'd rather not feel like I have start at 13 watts...

maybe you could contact provape if someone's still answering there, and see what's going on.

Some ProVape dealers used to do updates, as well a Zen at HoH as mentioned. I can't find a list of ProVape dealers who did firmware updates, but if you know a former "brick and mortar" ProVape dealer in your area, you could call or visit them to see if maybe they could still update firmware. That said, I always had to sent mine back to ProVape for firmware update as the nearest ProVape dealer that also did the updates was over a hundred miles away from me. GOOD LUCK !!!

I've sent a few Provari in for repairs, and it all went pretty smoothly. The last time was in May and Bill said he was pretty busy and it might take a while depending on what I needed. He still turned them around pretty quickly. I usually emailed him on a Friday and heard back after the weekend.

In my first emails, I told him what Provari I had and the issues it was having. He would email back with his service form and instructions for shipping back to him for repairs.

If you just need a software update, he should be able to do that. Parts might be getting scarce. What software is on your P3? Ver 41 is the last update. The "v2" is confusing to me. Is this the same mod that is having problems with the low battery indicator? If you are needing parts, he may start running out of some things and not able to fix them.

It was April or May when I emailed him for the first time.. but I've never heard back from him.

V just stands for version, same as ver.. I'm just lazy so only abbreviate to v.. lol.. but I'm on the software version of 2.. and yes, I wanted to be able to get it updated to version 41 if possible.

It's the same one that needs the update that has the low battery indicator not working. When I first emailed him to see about getting an update it was still working but by the time I sent the second email it had stopped so I included that as something I wanted to fix if possible.

I told him I had a p3 and what I wanted done in each email and asked him to respond by telling me how I needed to proceed to get the work done. The second email I told him that since I hadn't heard from him yet I was sending this second email and reiterated all the information adding I also needed the low battery indicator fixed if possible.

I don't know..

It took me 3 emails and six weeks to get a reply from Bill. He fixed my 2.5 mini in less than a week round trip. I got my mini back two weeks ago.

Maybe ill just start becoming more persistent then. I wasn't wanting to bother if he was busy, but at the same time I don't want to miss out on getting this done either.. so if it takes weekly emails maybe ill start doing that - if he's even still there.

I will call HOH also and see what they want to do the update.

Try the new 0.7 Nautilus coils. I think the flavor is better and they last longer than the 1.8 Claptons. I don't vape like this all the time, but the 0.7 coils at 15 watts in a P3 with boost at 3 using 50-50 juice is very nice. It's also a completely different experience that my usual non-Clapton 1.8s at 9.6 watts in a P3.

If you are really stuck on the Claptons, please let me know. I have two boxes I'd wouldn't mind PIFing to you.

Caught my eye: On this date, 05 JULY 1946, first "bikini" unveiled. Micheline Bernardini 19, modeling Louis Reard's two-piece swimsuit, which he called the bikini, named days after the first above ground atomic test in the Bikini Atoll. He introduced his design, a two-piece swimsuit with a g-string back made out of 30 square inches (194 cm2) of cloth with newspaper type pattern, which he called a bikini, at a press conference at the Piscine Molitor, a popular public pool in Paris. She is holding a small box into which the entire costume can be packed.
