I just read in the Deeming thread that the FDA is delaying almost everything, until like 2022 or something. I was really getting depressed about the results of that court battle being lost. I feel a lot better about the future now. I am not going to stop stocking up on what I can, but it seems like I will have more time to do so. :)

I also just got this in a E-mail. :)

Vape is saved. Deeming dead?
this is huge news! I am hesitant to rejoyce, but it does seem like the tide is about to change, I think we owe a huge gratitude to Public health England, and the Royal College of physicians for their leadership in support of vaping. If we followed the original path the FDA was leading us down, I think truly educated people would be laughing at the stupidity of US policy an a few short years.

Great News !!!:)

Coincidentally, I was to receive a shipment from Nicotine River today to add to my storage. Tracking showed it was delivered and left at my door by FedEx ... it wasn't there !!!

After calling FedEx and generating a Delivery Exception ticket, I hopped in the Jeep to check houses at streets north and south of me ... AND FOUND THE PACKAGE ... FedEx delivered to the right house number, wrong street. At least I have it !!!

... oh and that HoH Bombastic tip was just for the pic and been replaced with the HoH Gertrude tip that lives on that tank LOL

I agree, but I can't help but give out a sigh of relief, and it seems like the new FDA director has a brain in his head, and can look at the evidence that it is a harm reduction product. I did just watch a video clip that he gave, and was talking about flavors that target kids, which I disagree with, (I love candy flavors) but sense I DIY I can make all the candy flavors that I want. I just want more devises and toppers to stay on the market longer so I can buy them later.

If Deeming were to go away, anyone think ProVape would ramp back up?

I don't think that will happen, ( I hope so) I would be happy if someone would just start making the control boards to their specks though. I would buy replacement boards in a heart beat if I could.

Totally agree finally we have a doctor in charge of the FDA who isn't on the tobacco payroll and didn't have to go through Congress.

Sorry, but don't forget about Republicans. They may suck for other reasons but this is a vaping forum and the Republican Party was on the side of vaping while the Democrats were (and still are) the enemies of vaping. It's just true, sorry.

Say what you want about Trump and you may be right, but if Hillary would have been elected, this good VAPING news wouldn't have happened.

Again, this is a vaping forum and, unfortunately, politics had everything to do with all of it. The Deeming in the first place and now the back down.

IMO, no. They made a tidy sum from their venture but the seas ahead are still choppy. My impression with ProVape owners is they take the position that a bird in hand is better than two in the bush. They took a risk starting ProVape and it paid off handsomely. One has to know when to leave the blackjack table. They left and IMO they're gonna stay gone. Maybe they can sell the brand name but I suspect they are finito.

I'm hoping that he means the way they are branded. I really think that naming a liquid that totally is a take off of a cereal that IS marketed to kids really isn't needed. Some labels even mimic the packaging on those cereals.

We still NEED to keep pressure on getting the grandfather date changed. If change is only through the FDA, we are still at the mercy of any future administrations.

It certainly takes the pressure off, yes, a big sigh of relief. I'm not ever going to stop DIYing though, because I started that because I could never find a juice I really liked, being able to stockpile years worth of stuff was just a bonus to me. Now I have lately been enjoying the convinience of drop in coils more, so I'm relieved that they should be available for years to come. I don't regret any of the stuff I have put away. If I wind up not needing it, it was like paying for an insurance policy that was never needed to put a claim on.

I doubt it, from what Zen said in an interview, they were ready to just get out of the business anyways, and I think they sold off all the equipment.

They did sell all equipment, as well as intellectual property!
Hope with this new info the purchasers will produce Provape quality mods!

Yeah, I remember hearing about the intellectual property, hopefully somebody can produce PV's with their chipset designs, that would be really sweet!
