I'm confused. I bought the ProVari Programmer because I thought I might run across a used P3 or Radius in the future that needed updating. Right before he left ProVape, Blake updated my Radii and P3s to the last software PV had released.

I assumed the Programmer included all the drivers and one could do updates without downloading from the net. But Zen is saying that's not true, the drivers have to come from a website and that it could go down at anytime?

I finally pulled the Programmer box off the shelf, opened it up and all I received was USB key containing a password file, an installation guide and the Programmer Setup program version 1.2. From looking at the installation guide it appears no drivers are in included in the setup program. To me this means Zen is correct.

I might as well pitch Programmer device and cables in the trash as they are not going to do me much good now. So ENAUD you agree? If so, then anyone who wants the Programmer, you can have it for the postage to you.

While I use my ProVaris every day, it's only five out of 36, so if one dies, I'm not going ProVari-less.
36 Provaris . Wow !

I don't know where they originated from.

Are there other Kabuki that have a different size? It's just weird how the one end is off size.

I have 8 of them left. One broke rolling off the table, the other broke when I tried to gently force it on.

Don't try to force glass onto something!

Can you tell if the ends were "flamed" after being cut? Sometimes when glass is cut the person cutting will flame the ends to melt and smooth them out. This can create a raised bead at the cut. HOH glass is not flamed after cutting as far as I recall, I'd ask ProVari fuel where the glass was sourced from...

ProVape said they were going to leave the updates available for a year, or till the end of year, I don't recall exactly, but yeah, they are paying or paid for sever space to host their files so folks could catch up, and I'd imagine, to honor their vendor customers some time to update their customer base units. Zen said the files were still available, only the folks who owned ProVape can definitively answer when they are going to pull the plug on it, and they cannot talk here, even if they were interested at this point...

In my mind, it's already a done deal, no way no how am I going to go messing around with my Radius, and it's firmware at this point, way back I did the latest upgrade without the whack a mole game CC ;)

A bunch of my mods can do firmware updates. Poor suckers took a wrong turn into this home.

@Robino1 - I've had best luck with the silicone rings. They totally changed my opinion of the Kabuki (for the much better). I'd never even consider using any others now.

We know what they say about opinions...

I hope Hobbs is OK.

I'm not going to worry about it. It looks they don't have any more of them. I checked their website. Seems like they don't have much of anything left. Are they going out of business?

If this new batch causes me problems, I will order some o rings. Sheesh, ya think ya got it all sorted out and then ... wham! Problems creep in. Oh well, such is life. ;) Deal with one thing at a time and it all works out in the end. LOL!

I know most won't get it but I just cracked myself UP!
