On another forum I have been on for many years, a good friend there left me a PM, it was a breadcrumb, he then went on to commit " forum suicide", got himself a permanent vacation...

I've also seen folks ping a few friends and then take a hiatus, more often than not, they just post less and less, then one day they are just gone...in a bigger pond it's not so noticeable, but if the pond is a smaller one, it is more so...

Pretty much this exactly (for me anyway). I've been reading here since 2009, got an account in 2010 and I've gone through phases where I participate almost daily, share thoughts on all the gear I'm using, post pics ... and then I drift away for a few years, wherein I continue skimming some of the threads once in a while, but just run out of time to participate. vaping? It's awesome, worked for me to get off cigs, it's still working, so are all my ProVari's and the Dicodes that replaced most of them in active use. I have enough nic frozen for roughly 100+ years, enough hardware for 25-100 years (it's hard to say, I was done stocking up back in 2016, and nothing I use has broken since then, but I still buy whatever is new and looks interesting).

I guess the main change is this forum as a whole seems to have shrunk considerably, many of the people I talked with the most have moved on to other forums or FB groups, and one by one the vendors I used most have become historical artifacts and legends from the dawn of time, as opposed to actual companies actively releasing new products (with the single exception of Imeo and GG which seem eternal ... but he's always been more of an artisanal boutique than an actual company. I stopped smoking with Super T and GG mechs, followed by Provari's). So, there's less to say :)

Happy 2018 to everybody, and hi @ENAUD @Katdarling @coldgin96 @gnees @Bronze @DPLongo22 @Robino1 @WillyZee and everybody else whose names aren't on the last few pages of posts here to remind me!

Cheers.

24 of them are Minis and 2.5s and a lot of those where bought when ProVape was selling them for $29.95 or whatever it was.

One might also say: dumb!

I would have done the same thing, at the time all that was going down, I was really broke, I still am actually. I barely managed to get 4 Radius's one P3 and one classic, But I am happy with my 6 Mini's and my 6 full sized 2.5's. :)

My personal opinion, KAS? Those 12 v2.5s are 8-11 more than you'll probably need for life. Ya done good.

Flip a Flipper, but NEVER flip an old Provi. ;)

Yeah your right, I would have liked to have taken advantage of that blow out though. I set up my oldest one again about a week ago, with a KFL +, and still works great, trying a Strawberry Cake recipe, which shows promise. :)

Given the choice, should I use flat or button top batteries in my P3 ?
That's the beauty of the P3, you can use either, so win win depending on what you have, and what you may have available in the future...me ...I'm currently running the 18350 Aspire 1300 mah cells in mine, and loving them! (Flat tops)

:thumb::thumb: Getting very respectable run time out of them little short batteries.

Pssst...a lil' secret, ...the P3 will vape the same no matter what battery you use, as long as it is a suitable battery type and can deliver the amps you need depending on the watts you are set to ;)
