I didn't realize this place still existed. For some commie plot reason, even though I subscribed a long long time ago I never got any notices. Anyhow, a big hello to all my old Provari friends. I've now bookmarked the page so hopefully I can (sorta) keep up with the great information and lunacy. :D

Go to the top of the page, under the title, click on watch thread, select watch thread.
It's enabled, and has been for longer than I can remember. But thanks. I always get emails from other watched threads here, not sure what happened in this case.

To Vape Or Not To Vape… - New Delhi Times - India's Only International Newspaper

quote from article

"At present there is little public information about scale of vaping in India. It largely depends upon rate of switching. Based on data collected it appears that ~ 18% smokers will switch to vaping within a few years. If this happens, then ~ 11 million people would benefit (reduction in tobacco related deaths) & if majority is below 40 years, then average increase in life expectancy would be ~ 8 years i.e. saving 90 million life years – increasing productivity consumption – reduction in healthcare expenditures."

That would be the best thing ever. My husband was hospitalized after a broken neck at age 18, and they still did that with smoking lounges. His first foray after rehabilitation started (he was in traction for a LONG time, and everyone thought he would be a quad was to that lounge and he said it was one of the best cigarettes of his life.

I'm not trying to romanticize smoking, but man, that addiction/dependency and dealing with awful news, awful pain, etc. I hope England does it. I don't think the US will ever follow suit. BUT, I'd be happy for England if they did it....

You come up for air yet?
 got home Sun. Very early AM, landed in Charlotte NC and had a three plus hour drive...two flights before that, all while suffering the effects food poisoning... Long ride to say the least. Had a week of tough dives due to rough seas, the final day was the best as the storms had moved through and the sun was out, the seas were calm, and the fishes were not all tucked in hiding from the tide surge. today was the first day I started to feel alive again, the past few days I was a zombie...with my guts tied up in knots, wife is still sick with a cold or a respiratory flue type thing, others on the trip also got hit with a bug. Had some incredible dives none the less, 14 dives in six days with one day of non diving to off gass, it was a good trip. :)
