KAS, sweetie.... seems you're rarely happy with vape gear lately. :(

The JACKIES are prolly one of the most useful and solid devices we've had the pleasure of owning over the last year. Every mod has its issues, for sure, but I do think the magnet issue is "a bit" (thank you the @Bronze) overblown. The finish is not a prob either, not at all.

I've had DNA mods auto fire. I've had cheap mods auto fire. Schtuff happens, and I do believe there's been precisely ONE case of auto fire on the DB. And for the rest of what you said.... the "guys attitude towards safety" being off, I have no idea what you mean. Have you chatted with him? Hopefully yes. I do know he's extremely accessible. I'd really love to know why you have a 'bad feeling' about the guy...

Nevermind :|

Vape :?:

1979-80s: Starting in 1979, Phil Ray, one of the pioneers of computers, worked with his personal physician Norman Jacobson to create the first commercialized variation on the e-cigarette (which was not actually electronic; it relied on evaporation of the nicotine). They performed the first known formal research in the field on nicotine delivery. The commercialization of the product reached major retailers. But the device was never a promising technology for nicotine delivery; Jacobson attributes its failure to it being inherently faulty.
While the device proved to be a dead-end, the inventors did contribute the verb “vape” to the language.

KAS, I'll only say that I'm more than happy that DPL took to answer this one. You more than shocked me by what you said, and printing your opinion which so EASILY could be construed as some sort of fact, really does border on defamation. Clearly, I doubt you meant to do that, but the words are the words.

I'm truly dismayed. :(

If you could remove my Quote from this post, I think that would be best.

Thanks.

I feel like I should state for the record, that I really have no issues with the Jac or the Sandstorm, I don't have either so I have no experience with them. I like the board that is in them though.

I am just currently interested in a devise with that board or similar that has 2 batteries. I would prefer to find one that is in a stainless or aluminum body, even a TI or Brass would be nice, but I probably could not afford them right now. Something that will easily fit in a shirt pocket, and not be printed out. It could have some plastic in the design, to reduce weight, but not an all plastic mod. It will be several months, before I can consider buying another mod.

I am sorry that my post yesterday upset a few people, but it was not about the Jac or Sandstorm. :|

I have been a victim of saying the wrong thing in here. On occasion, it almost makes me want to go away but I refuse to give certain people that satisfaction. I have more that back me than those who would bring me down. Opinions are like bung holes, everybody is different, blah, blah, blah....

EDIT: The three involved in the minor disagreement are all ones that have stood up for me so I am glad everyone is getting along.

If it doesn't exist today, it will soon enough. Grab some popcorn...

@Bronze - it's all good, and not JAC related at all. In fact, I don't even recall what it was about. ;)
