I bought my first Dani Box 2 years ago and quickly followed with 2 more. They have been rock steady over time. I'd rate them on Provari level at least, with the classic German overengineering thrown in. That's not a bad thing, they are not so complicated to be annoying but build to the highest standards.

As for wattage mode, it is every bit as smooth as Pro vape. I'm not sure why there would be hate towards not having an onboard charger since most mods do not. They use a screw cap, though the Mini has replaced the coin slot method with a cap that can be turned by hand. I've not used the new 80w board like the MIni has but have no doubt it will be every bit as good as the ones I have.

I'll add a photo of the trio. Just a quick shot as I didn't even wipe them down. They each have been used daily and not babied. It is a measure of Dicodes quality that they look like new after over 2 years of use.

If you do decide to get one (the minis are new and don't stay in stock very long) I would highly recommend buying from Creme de vape. There is a company with a US address selling Dicodes lately, but I can tell horror stories about their efficiency, customer service, and pricing. CDV has been quicker and cheaper to my door than the other company.View attachment 754215

That is the kind of feedback I was hoping for. :) I was leaning towards CDV anyway, and if they go out of stock then so be it, I cant do it right now. The 2 black ones you have, they have on sale right now. The 26650 one, I have to say just looks strange to me, but I would like the battery life. I like the mini because it needs to fit in a shirt pocket. I am fairly sure I will end up with at least one, if not more of these. The site in the USA that you are talking about does have higher prices, that was the first thing I noticed, I did not know about anything else. I do really like the stab wood one you have there, very cool. :)

I figured it's just a matter of time before Bill runs out of parts and I can't get my Radius fixed anymore. :(
I will eventually need to find another mod to use
I'm definitely going to be following this one.:)

Mine are working fine, but that is the reason that I have been looking, I would like them to last a long long time. :|

Hey, were they in stereo? Dolby?

Yeah. But after running for so long, they would begin to play slowly (like a 45 at 33rpm), then eventually just karp out on ya. Very "bass" too, which is fine, but treble counts too. That Dolby button often just sucked ALL the treble right out of the music.

And there's NOTHING like being in the middle of a jamming song, then having it stop, mid-word, to move to the next track. Oh mammamia...

If felt kind like this:
"Hey, hey, mama, that's the way you gr:headbang:{click}{click}o_O{click}:|{click}:|{click}:|{click}:headbang:oove, gonna make you sweat, gonna make you move."

Yeah - they didn't work out too well for me. Made it through cars 1 & 2, but I couldn't take it past 1978-ish.

That, and they screwed with the track order on some albums to try and make them fit the format better. In high school I worked weekends cooking in a restaurant and there was an eight track player that would play all night long, we wore out a bunch a f them tapes what with them being in the heat and the grease from the fryolators heavy in the air... Cassettes were a welcome change when they hit the market hard. 1980-85 I was in the Coast Guard and cooking aboard ships, I would blow a bunch of money on pay days when we had shore leave buying new cassettes to play in the galley, wound up with hundreds of them. A whole bunch got destroyed when the ship I was on was in the yards for maintenance and they degaussed the hull, basically, they swept it with some type of magnetic instrument to induce a bias field. Degaussing - Wikipedia, this left countless cassette tapes to have an annoying high pitched squeal in the background...I was heartbroken...

I remember a couple times riding around in cars drinking and having other fun, when the driver would put in a crappy tape, I'd pull a nasty and yank the tape out of the player and pull about a foot of the tape out of the cassette and hang the thing out the window laughing hysterically as the wind at eighty or so miles an hour would rapidly unwind the tape into the airstream with a hundred or so foot of snapping shiny tape whipping in the breeze behind the car within seconds. I was not always a nice person.

I love it, and all SO true.

When CDs came out, I felt like we'd hit the pinnacle. After a life of scratched vinyl, garbling 8 Tracks, and short lived cassettes, the Compact Disc was the medium of my dreams.

Where sound is concerned, they're still my all-time favorite (sacrilege, I know), but I'm such a slave to the convenience now upon us that all of my CDs are gathering dust.

No complaints, because of all the FANTASTIC memories that will never leave me.

I don't listen to as much music as I used to, just pretty much the radio most days now, but I got it into my head the other day that I wanted to hear the Yellow Shark orchestral album by Fank Z, I went looking for my somewhat buried CD's and then remembered, I had it loaded on my IPod LOL, they changed the interface on the IPod since the last time I used it and I was lost for a bit figuring out how to play an album. I hav never been one for the Playlist thing, I like to listen to entire albums with the tracks in the order that they Were released in. Another reason I HATED 8 tracks ;)

The Number 6 is my only 26650 mod. It's sort of funny but it fits my hand better and a touch more comfortable to hold than the Dani Boxes. It also has a larger display which can be read at a glance, and as you mention the battery life is great. BUT it is definitely not a pocket mod unless you've been to a MC Hammer yard sale. Using the old "if you lost it would you replace it?" thing, honestly I'd have to give it a lot of thought. It works great, batteries last forever, etc etc but the dude is chubby.

Found this on the bay and have one on the way to me. Think there is one left. ProVari P2.5 Decorative End Cap - Zombie Prototype, Unreleased - New! ... one of provape_parts listings. I like it MUCH better than the end cap ProVape eventually went with and released.

I am kind of surprised, I have tried looking for info on Dicodes devises, there is not too much really on ECF. I even looked at underground, there does not seem to be a lot of like for this devise. The one I am looking at is the Dani Box Mini, I am just interested in wattage mode. There is almost no info on how it functions, temp control there is tons of info. The common remarks about them, is they are hated because it has no on board charger, and they sell an expensive charging dock instead. Changing batteries is no big deal to me, I will probably end up getting one of these, even with the price being so high. Another thing about these is they have a 2 year warranty. :?:

KAS

My everyday carry.

Been dropped more times than I can count.

The only mods on the market that are considered by me are DiCoDes!!!
