Took the 521 mini tab apart to see if I could adjust it somehow to accommodate the KFL19. Nope. It is what it is. Will have to do as KAS suggested and build the KFL19 on the mod. Dang shame. The tab is a more stable work surface.
@GeekyGeezer ... EXCELLENT idea. Thank you for your consideration. Sadly, the KFL19 does not have an adjustable 510 screw. Instead, on the KFL19 ... where a 510 adjustable screw WOULD be is a slotted head nylon plug to control airflow in the KFL19. It's a different beast than most tanks. This is probably a silly question, but have you tried backing out the 510 screw a small amount? If yours is like all the other Kayfuns I've used, it is an adjustable pin. I've had to do that occasionally as the 510 threads themselves were fine but the center pin contact didn't protrude enough to make a good connection. Sometimes it took 1/4 turn or less, sometimes as much as 1/2 turn.
But I have to admit I'm just being theorhetical here; I don't have a KFL19 and my 521 Tab is the original, larger model.
Yep @Wayneo, the P3 came with 2 extender sections from ProVape, just so it could use an 18650 if desired. The same principle would apply to the Mini. Just use 2 extender sections. When doing mod maintenance and cleaning threads for best electrical conductivity after extended use, the extender section threads need to be looked at / cleaned too. Thanks muchly Hobbs. I knew about the button top requirement, but didn't even think of that extra extender![]()
Resistance is where it should be. Coil and Wick have settled in. 521 Mini Tab works with the KFL19 ... for now.A work in progress LOL

Never seen one of those Twins things. Maybe I did, but it just didn't blow my skirt up. Dunno. Was it a ProVape release? I like the looks of the extension cap. A more uniform look and maybe makes the length a hair shorter (?) ... I think. The extension cap just doesn't seem to be quite as stable, relatively speaking, as an extension sleeve section and end cap when standing on end. Maybe a ProVari shouldn't be stood on end anyhow LOL ... just asking to be accidentally tipped over.@Wayneo : if you can find one of those "Twins" things, that works and is just one adapter. I have one, and it's kinda fun, but I prefer the two extensions option (uniformed width).
Or one extension ring plus one extension cap. Any or all of these options are fine.
The Twins were third party '"aftermarket " (for lack of a better term), and were done by the folks who made the Hippo (topcap). Well made stuff.Never seen one of those Twins things. That’s how I have it too Hobbs. I use a 2mm stainless coil in temp control. Of course, everyone has their own preferences and it can vary from atty to atty. This rule seems to apply across all Kayfuns for me. I find I lose flavor when it’s too high and get a more burned flavor when too low (plus a higher risk of juice entering the airway). I’m sure once you experiment you will find your sweet spot.@Bronze ... how far above the deck airflow is your coil on the KFL19? I build 30ga Kanthal on 2mm and the BOTTOM of my coil is about even with the TOP of the coil leg capture screws.
no, failure pix...A work in progress LOL

caution!!!The extension caps are slightly less stable but better looking (for my taste), and the stability difference is very minor. If one were to select what they liked best (aesthetically), they'd be safe & happy (in all probability).
