Agree. Mr Soul kinda popped out of nowhere.
I wonder if they went "off the reservation" with that one, maybe it was before all live TV performances were actually "canned" ...?

A tale of two P3s.

P3s_20201030_231707.jpg

One the left, one terribly abused Byzantium/Princess Purple from the D'Elegance line. Whoever owned it has no idea what it was they held, sadly. The Kabuki isn't nearly as beat up, but it's still beat-up. That one's getting set aside for a future post, in another thread (if'n ya catch my drift).

That being said, I'm having quite a nice time not worrying about it, topped with Eggroll. A favorite combo for me, for sure.

On the right, a still pristine beauty from @GeekyGeezer 's collection, which will remain that way for years to come. Always in use but cared for as if it just arrived. Topped with a Pioneer, it's another that's quite nice for and to me.

This concludes today's Provari based posts in a Provari thread. We now return to our irregularly unscheduled programming. :D

"Hey kid, Rock & Roll, rock on..." :headbang:

I really like the color of that P3, I have no memory of that being available. Do you know if that was the paint based finish. (Krecoat or something) I remember you posting about it before somewhere. I was never interested in the jeweled buttons, I always bought based on a durable finish, and function. Of course I also did not know that Provape was going to just quit fighting the regulations as early as they did, so I never really got any of their special editions, except for the Dragons. :|

Also I had to bookmark that clip, one hell of a long time sense I heard that one. :)

I'm actually not sure how Mike did these, KAS. Originally I thought they were all ZenKote, but experience proved otherwise. It's not cerakote, but it's not ZenKote either. It feels like ZK but is nowhere near as durable. Probably something special he dreamed up (as he's been known to do).

This one was literally abused, but it worked out for me (because I wanted a beater that I slap an Eggroll onto).

It's still sad, because that color was SO special (way back when). I'd have loved to have seen it back when it first left HOH.
