About 15 years ago I became diabetic, well, I was diabetic prior to that but didn't really know it.  Eye issues are a by-product of that.  Anyway, the insulin, with insurance is $350 a month.  Because I am fairly disabled from the military, the VA covers a lot.  When some VA doc said that he would get the VA to provide the insulin, I was extremely happy.  My disabilities for the military don't include diabetes treatments, but hey, the VA providing my meds has been a boon.  I don't question it.
I have a video appointment here in Colorado in 2 weeks so the VA can continue servicing my prescriptions. I hope it continues.  Today, I unpacked all my meds...I was surprised how much space it all takes.
Trump WAS going to look into why U.S. meds are so much more expensive than EU/UK/Canadian meds.  I guess that won't happen now.
It is expensive to get old.
