Had an appointment with a gastroenterologist today, he confirmed my suspicions, advanced cirrhosis. Going to get some blood work and paracentesis to relieve the severe abdominal bloating. I am not a candidate for a Donar organ...you play, you pay. I'm going to make some changes, but what will be will be. Thanks to all for the well wishes. It's been a fun ride.

For whatever it's worth (and I know you know this already), you are and have always been high on our faves list. Your sense of humor, zest for life (bike-riding in hurricanes, etc.), always helpful and ever-present knowledge of this hobby we call Vape resulted in an ECF legacy that'd be impossible to minimize.

I too am at a loss for words other than to say that you are and will be in our hearts. As @rosesense said, if there IS anything we can do for you, here on ECF or otherwise, PLEASE don't hesitate to ask.
