I did some cookie, butterscotch, cinnamon and hazelnut... I wasn't anticipating it but it's a real good start on gingerbread :)
that sounds good. I dont have the cinnamon but sounds perfect for what i would use it for. want to try my cookie but havent thought of anything yet. just mixed some torrone black cherry and almond.

Public Service Announcement - shake it up, baby! Shake your flavorings before measuring them out, especially citrus ones! I try to make it habit, but when I forget to shake a bottle that's been sitting a while, I've gotten some pretty weird results.

Thanks HIC! Made a batch of irish lass and at first thought is was a little weak on the flavor side( but I just got done vaping a strong tobacco blend) so I bumped up the flavor and may have ruined it. I am also vaping out of the same tank as I had the tobacco in and I think I am still getting hints of it. I also made the cherry coke but have not tried it yet. Smells great though! Oh yeah...mind sharing some of you Starbucks recipes? :)

Please let us know how your gingerbread-ish flavor progresses! I'd use it for a gingerbread latte, mmm~~

Haha... I don't think I'm going to pursue that :) It'll get vaped though.

Good point, I haven't given it much thought with these little 3ml bottles.

Just starting diy, you guys are great and have great recipes! I'm really excited to try them. I read in someones post that different flavors taste better at different watts/volts, coffee at this, chocolate at this, etc. Do you all have any recommendations about this? Also, headinclouds, would you have a coffee recipe you would be willing to share :) I LOVE coffee, and the way you described it in your previous post made me want to drink some LOL Love your reviews, btw. Thanks again everyone

Question, re Cinnamon Ceylon

The only time we ever used it was in our original 'test vapes' (single and with other blends). We tested it from .5% - 5%...and well, it just sucked to us (barely tasted like any spice we could recognize, but maybe a 'cinnamon butterfly' had flown over the bottles kinda thing).

Maybe we didn't shake it? Maybe we got a bad bottle? Maybe others have similar experience?

Do tell! (please)

Oh yeah...mind sharing some of you Starbucks recipes? :)

I don't try to match Starbuck's named flavors, but I like Starbucks-ish coffees...sweet and creamy.
Here's one I use often, all FA flavors. It's a rich, creamy, sweet, lightly coconut, 'fancy' coffee flavor:

SWEET COCONUT LATTE (for those who prefer percentages)
1% Coffee Espresso (or 0.5% for just a tint of java)
0.5% Coconut
0.5% Almond
0.5% Butterscotch (Caramel works okay if you don't have B'scotch)
0.5% Vienna Cream
0.5% Fresh Cream
0.5% Vanilla Tahiti (Vanilla Classic works nearly as well)

For the drops-inclined: Use the same kind of syringe/dropper for each flavor to get same-sized drops. Use 2 drops of Coffee Espresso, 1 of each of the others (8 drops total). Add 3ml of your nic base for very strong flavor, or 4ml of your nic base for normal strength, or 5ml for light flavor. (If you add 3-4ml, you can try it and add more base if you want it lighter flavored.)

In either case, shake it, set the closed bottle in a cup of hot tap water until it's very thin consistency, shake it more, and vape fresh.

----------
:2c:
I mix tiny batches and vape them fresh. When I like a recipe with many flavors and small percents, save time in the long-run: Mix a batch of the flavorings alone, keeping the ratios the same. For example here, 10 drops of Espresso, 5 of each of the others. Label it "Sweet Coconut Latte Flavoring" and use it as you would any other flavoring. Then you can make the identical juice quickly later, with just 1 flavoring bottle.

Yes! Cinnamon definitely needs a good shake right before you meaure it out. And it strengthens in recipes. I used some crazy percent in a cinnamon coffee recipe because I could barely taste it. When I picked up that same tank a couple days later it was WAY too much cinnamon flavor. You know I rarely steep, but if there's cinnamon in a recipe, I make an exception and let it sit a few days. Shaking and hot water haven't done it for me, just gotta let it sit a while.

It's not only FA's cinnamon. I vape TFA's Red Hots at 8% freshly mixed, but if that sits overnight, I have to dilute it by half or I'll choke. I let TFA's cinnamon spice age, too. However their Holiday Spice loses strength as it ages, but I digress....

Here's another coffee with all FA flavors. If you've had a hard time finding a mocha recipe with realistic chocolate flavor, and if you like German chocolate cake, give it a try. Rum and Hazelnut are not distinct in the finished mix, but IMO they are the secret to making this such a tasty mocha. It's a boldly-flavored mix:

GERMAN CHOCOLATE HAZE (for those who prefer percentages)
1% Coffee Espresso (or 0.5% if you just want the German chocolate flavor)
1% Cocoa
1% Coconut
1% Fresh Cream
0.5% Hazelnut
0.5% Jamaican Rum

For the drops-inclined: Use the same kind of syringe/dropper for each flavor to get same-sized drops. Use 2 drops of each 1% flavor, and 1 drop of the 0.5% flavors (10 drops total). Add 4ml of your nic base for strong flavor, or 5ml of your nic base for normal strength.

If you accidentally mix this too weak, just add 1-2 drops of Cookie to make tasty German Chocolate Cookies. Oh, happy day!

HIC, you use both Bav. and Fresh Cream... I omitted the Bav. in my order, but i always liked to use TFA Sweet Cream in most any fruit mix. So far I've used FA Fresh Cream with fairly good success...
How does the Bavarian Cream compare ?

I used it in my cookie experiment at ~.3% and can tell it's there. I also added a few drops to a TFA cinnamon danish mix with good results.

They're totally different flavors for different uses. My description from an earlier post:
Vienna Cream: 3%. This rich, sweet, creamy flavor reminds me of the custard filling in Boston cream pie. If you get a sharp taste, it's mixed too strong, so start low. At 2-3% all by itself, it's smooth and decadent. You can add a little nutmeg, cinnamon, or rum to make a great eggnog. It blends perfectly with Tiramisu.

A favorite thread to me, too, but it's not "mine". I think it belongs to FA :)

btw, just to point out, FA Whipped Cream is from their not-for-inhalation Kitchen Magic line, not an e-cig flavor. Only FA's website separates the two flavoring lines; every e-cig vendor I've seen includes some Kitchen Magic flavors without saying so.
