Thanks for the info Freeze. I've gone through 2 of the cheap 5v PT's already and am trying to decide between this and another.

BTW, LOVE the Clockwork Orange quote...that has been my ring-tone on my phone for quite some time now. Viddy well, little brother.

Just a suggestion, but if you get the Protege' proper AND the USB insert for it, you'll have 2, 2 PV's in one...one for the walkabout with 14500 batt and one for the desk on the USB 5v

Well not only that but the USB extension is also on sale/clearance right now, so that makes it a great deal!
