What I was hoping was that maybe something was not right with it as the reviews for this flavor are great...and yes I searched BWB with soapy taste and it has occured before suggestion was to steep and I did... Like I said the peach and strawberry are wonderful and that is why I thought maybe the bottle I received was off or something.

I've gotten some putrid flavors from other juices (other vendors), and in several cases it just required that they sit for a few days and chill out and the bad flavors were gone. I don't know enough about the ingredients in e-liquid and all the specialty ingredients (sour/bitter reducers, pH stuff, sweeteners, etc) to make any assumptions as to what was causing the terrible flavors at first but I haven't experienced anything of the sort with the Backwoods juices I have recieved (haven't tried apple/cherry tobacco though).

I've got about 15 bottles of assorted flavors and sizes, and many sat in the mailbox 6+ hours in 100+ degree heat while I was at work but I never got any discoloration or bad taste from heat exposure. I concur with whiskey though, if a bit of steeping or different equipment doesn't fix the problem then it simply may not be the juice for you.

I can imagine a variety of reasons (ok maybe just a few) that 24mg is the highest offered.

24mg may be the highest that Don is willing to go due to quality of flavor...some juices seem to taste better with more nicotine, but some certainly seem to suffer. If you cannot tell, Don prides himself on his juices and I can imagine he doesn't want to release something that isn't to a certain standard (or have polar opposite reviews due to nicotine content).

I only use 18mg, and have not ordered anything in 24mg so I can't give MY personal experience with 30+mg nic or anything close, but it may be that Don feels anything higher than 24 would be a liability issue. Although it would be a pain to have to add more nicotine to every order, for those looking for higher nicotine content it is a viable option to purchase liquid nicotine of the desired strength and DIY (IF YOU KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING).

Don charges the same amount for a bottle of 0mg as he does a bottle of 24mg, while other companies may charge slightly more for high nic liquids. Sure, he could put a dropdown menu on the website if cost was truly the issue and charge a buck or two extra but that would involve even more customization and special orders for an already busy man.

All of the above may be false, but I was just providing a little speculation =D

Q: I hear Don used to sell a peppermint flavor. Any chances of some type of mint (not menthol but actual mint) juice in the future? I have been looking for a good peppermint flavor to no avail. I know if anybody can do it, Don can! Not looking for suggestions on where to find one, this is the BWB sub-forum afterall. Just want to know if Don would consider the idea?
