Q: I have just ordered from Backwoods Brew for the first time and was curious as to what is a recommended steeping time for optimal flavor? My flavors are as follows:

Vanilla Bean
Pearberry
Honey Flue tobacco
Caramel Cappucino
Applewood
Banana

Thanks in advance... I am looking forward to vaping your juice and want to enjoy it to the fullest!

None! Vape them straight from the mailbox. If a flavor doesn't do it for you, steep it for a week, and try it again, if you still don't like it repeat. I have never purposely steeped any juice from Don.

Vanilla Bean - Good upon arrival but it does steep and improve across the first week or two.
Applewood - My advice is 2 weeks of steeping to let the apple and tobacco fully mix. It was good from the mailbox but is even better after 2 weeks.

I have not tried the other flavors, but my guess would be that the fruits would be good from the start (may or may not steep some but fruits usually change less) and my general rule of thumb on tobacco flavors is 2 weeks, but both taste and steeping are extremely subjective. ;)

Hope this helps!

All of Dons ingredients are sourced inside the US. He does get a tiny bit of flavoring from flavorart, according to his site, which is Italian. He has posted about this before but I have no clue where but know its been awhile ago. Don or Whiskey might be able to give deeper detail though.

Thanks Ruppy

this may be a really stupid question but I'm going to ask anyway.

I love the Malty Toffee flavors, as well as most flavors I've had from BWB, its delicious. What do you guys like to use (which volt/clearo/carto/tank) for vaping that. I feel like some of the cart/clearos Ive been trying are muting the flavor or just no TH whatsoever. I've been using a T2 and also tried a tank (with the cart with the whole in it) and I'm curious to what you guys suggest for the Ideal vaping exp with the malty toffe. I understand its all preferance but Im interested in what you all think.

Don, how is your re-formulation of RY4 coming along? I have had to use many substitutes to satisfy my RY4 cravings but none measure up to yours. I have even mixed Dulce De Leche, Vanilla Bean and Hunters Blend together to form my own. While this is pretty good, it just is not the same. Looking forward to your reply.
