I started with a Kanger EVOD. It was good enough for the first week or two to get me off cigarettes, but I soon moved up to a kayfun lite plus V2 and mech mod, and from there moved on to a 26650 mod and Big Buddha. That was my sweet spot, and I'm up to 4 Big Buddhas and 4 2six clones.

Kanger EVOD isn't a cigalike and you quit smoking using it. So you're a 2. It doesn't matter what you moved on to after that.

#5 - I started with a Vapor Zeus for 1 month, then found the MVP2 and used it for3 months, now using the Eleaf Istick . I quit smoking cigarettes the first day I started vaping. I smoked cigarettes for 45 years, 2 packs or more a day. I tried every way possible to quit but nothing worked until I tried vaping. 5 months cig free and feel so much better health wise. People tell me I look better also.

You're a 2. Vapor Zeus isn't a cigalike and you were able to quit with it.

Started with a Joyetech 650mah and atty attachments - did both (cigs and vaping) for a while, but went from 1 1/2 packs a day to 10 almost immediately and then as I upped my mg level to over 24mgs I gradually dropped more cigs to get past the hump and drop the last cig. As time went on - I have reduced my mg by over half by going to more advanced PVs - variable voltage / tanks / etc...

Awesome thread, glad you started it. I started with a starter kit from a gas station that had an ego style batt, USB charger and a CE5. Quit smoking 4 days later and havent had a smoke since.

Still use primarily ego style batteries and CE4's and BCC style mini tanks. Drip also.

I tried cig a likes in the past and they just made me want to smoke.

5.

Wasn't looking to quit but when I sampled a flavored NET on a friend's cheap plastic truck stop clero my interest peaked. I bought a pair of VV ego batteries, a protank II mini and an assortment of NET, haven't "smoked" tobacco since. Once I realized vaping was my preference I upgraded to mech mods and RBAs. In hindsight wish I had started with them as they easily doubled the enjoyment and satisfaction of vaping. Going on two years smoke free good equipment was important but for me, flavored NET (the juice), was instrumental.

#3,

Rebuildables made it work for me and my wife. :?)

The ability to quality control my own stuff, and to easily diagnose problems, made a world of difference to me. Not to mention the dripper like hits you can get out of a well set up fogger, :?)

If I had been forced into a take it or leave situation with spotty QC, I`m sure the frustration level would have meant certain failure.

I started with the cigalike Vuse. I smoked and vaped. I was able to cut back on the smoking. Then my money began to dry up and I was forced to just bum smokes when I could. I needed my nicotine. Then green smoke sent me some sampler stuff and all I had to do was pay for shipping which was cheap. It was alright at first. Not as good as vuse. But that started giving me problem. At this point I was trying to stay off the analogs but it was hard. Luckily a member on here was nice enough to send me an itaste vv with a kanger aerotank mini along with a couple small bottles of juice. Once I got on that, I only had 1 other analog. That was a few weeks later and I was stressed. I didn't even like the taste anymore. I only finished it cause I didn't want to waste it. Another friend on here sent me some juice. Some stronger ones. I haven't had an analog since then. I got my current vaporizer on Sept 8th. So 1 analog 2 weeks after and no more sense is pretty good. It can be hard to get off analogs though and there is nothing along with doing both. If you need to ween yourself off analogs it is fine. A lot of people have to do that. Analogs have so many chemicals in them that it makes it hard to get off them. If your a heavy smoker and you want too make the switch, i recommend getting some strong juices. Anywhere from 18mg to 36mg. I'd say get you some of each because one amount might actually turn out to be too much nic for you. But it helps having a higher level since it can help take away from those extra cravings.
