Yeah, it can be annoying, like it unscrews in the pocket sometimes. but i really don;t think it is a major issue. I have learn't to do it easily now. just press and twist :)

Oh that is a cute little pipe! Hopefully someone knows the battery type.

I recall Leaford reviewing the 601 (I think that's what it was) and saying one of the downsides was getting at the batt. You had to twist that little end off and there was really no where to grasp it. How hard/easy is batt removal on this one?

it still comes down to how long the switch lasts freddo..

dead switch means new pipe.. u are a light user as u say.. how long will that pressure switch last a heavy user..

the batteries will last.. the generic atomizers are cheap.. how many puffs per switch.. ???

three things fail on an e cig.. batteries.. atomizers.. and switches...

the lady pipes solves the first two.. the atomizers are cheap.. the batteries are cheap.. the switch is expensive... how long it last is what matters..

as a light user freddo u really aint a good source of information on this one.. he he

so its something we aint gonna find out i suppose.. which is a shame..

okay it works.. this goes without saying.. i expected it to.. what we need now is a heavy user to test one as their main every day device and see how long it works for.. if the switch failure rate is similar to a normal e pipe it will be another typical e cig flash in a pan failure..

i would buy them in and resell them but not until i know how long the switch lasts..

i did try a while back freddo.. it kinda fouled up somehow... he he he

the device does interest me.. it looks to have potential.. the idea is there.. but is the f-cking reliable switch there... he he

the only other downside is the crack pipe factor.. the lady pipe is a dutch design.. they are okay in holland very drug liberal.. .. but might result in instant arrest in certain parts of the world.. he he he..

ps.. if i was u freddo i would risk a small number and sell them out with your liquid to see.. if too many die and come back u wont have lost much.. if they dont u will be onto a winner..

how much sterling does it cost freddo ?

Next order you make i may ask you to get one for me and test it out if the price is right, and you don't mind doing so ofcourse :)

Don't worry i don't expect you to give any guarentee's or anything.

I guess when the switch does eventually fail ( and obviously it will ) there should be a way to wire in a manual switch on it somewhere.

anyhow , if you do get some in Freddo then please put me down for one ;)

they come in packs of six freddy.. i will have one to play with just to make up numbers i am sure others will..

the older pipes had a suck switch which then activated a power transistor to supply the main power to the atomizer.. i am gonna guess these ones will be the same or similar.. just smaller and made to take the classic atomizer..

it was the power transistor that failed on the older ones..

so the deed is done then frankie.. a pack of ten it is.. the problem from a sellers point of view is the price.. reviews really aint worth jot.. only to those looking for the next new toy to buy and play with..

this place really does have too many "enthusiasts".. people who really are just looking for the next new toy to buy..

my sympathies are with normal people who just want something that works.. something that wont cost them an arm and leg to run and will get them off their tobacco habit..

sorry guys but reviews are just for toys.. all these new devices work.. what we need to know now is how reliable they are given all day and every day heavy usage.. are they suitable for someone who want just the one device to use for real and not just lots of new toys to play with..

somehow i feel a whole world of "real" people are being ignored here..

rant over... he he

ps... back to the seller.. only a fool would sell something for around £75 he has no idea of how long before it fails.. £75 quid means it comes back when it fails.. the seller has to stand the loss..
