Tenzip,
Your also pointing out just one product the Ego-T which is at the minimum highly controversial whether it is good or bad and hasn't been refined yet to it's final product yet and another of the products that obviously needs a bit more testing and some improvements made to it in my opinion, and we may see that happen too in just my opinion. HOWEVER I'm not even talking about the Ego-T in my statements, it's more about the ones I had mentioned without naming names.
It would be lovely to have beta testing happen before release to the public, but I don't see it happening. Basically, we are the beta testers. Sucks, but there it is.
I don't see it changing.
Again, I see your points, and agree. I'm just saying, it's nice to think about, and some might even do it. It won't be enough to change the way these things are being released.
If these were $500 or $5000 units we're talking about, instead of $50, it probably would happen. But the "damage" at $50 per customer is not painful enough. Yes, it adds up, but it's a slow bleed, instead of spurting arterial hemorrhage.
And the eGo-T I used purely as an example because I'm familiar with it and the threads concerning it, not because I thought you were slamming it. I agree it can use improvements, but I've had zero "serious" issues with mine.

I'm done, I just wanted to throw my hat in the ring. It's all good.
