Hello everyone.

My R200 seems to read the resistences way too high.
I've built the single and double rba of the TFV4 Micro.
The leads look good and aren't touching anything.
When I attach the deck to my Evic Vt, the mod shows me 0,45 ohms, but if I attach it to my R200 the resistance climbs up to 0,8ohm. After reattaching the atomizer, the resistance climbs even higher.
0,3ohm stock-coils are read correctly though, as is the Cubis with a 1,5Clapton coil.
Am I doing something wrong or is my mod broken?

Have you checked all the electrical contact points between (and including) the 510 pin through to the coil attachment screws? Has this atty/mod combo ever previously worked together correctly?

If all looks good after a thorough inspection/cleaning, try recoiling it. It's a long shot, but you could have a bad piece of wire.

:offtopic:, sort of...

This is a perfect example of why its a good idea to have either a digital voltage meter or an ohm reader. Regulated mods are known to have subtle differences in their ability to measure ohms, and having a separate ohm reader available can help troubleshoot resistance issues.

Colbalt's advice is good. If all post screws are snug and no part of the coil(s) are not touching where they shouldn't, you have little recourse but to wrap a new coil(s).

If I understand what you are saying you have several atty's and the only atty that is causing you an issue on the R200 is the tfv4 micro. The others work fine. If so then it could have to do with your atty's connectivity on the R200. Is the 510 connector of the atty tfv4 shorter or longer than your other atty's? Is the coil Kanthal, NI, or what?

BTW, Baditude posted some very sound advice regarding having and using an accurate ohm meter. As of 06-16, USA ohm meters had their standard unit marked down to $17.95 + $5.41 shipping in the US = $23.26 TL. There are cheaper units available, but check them out to be sure they're accurate to a hundredth of an ohm.
