I hear you, @JCinFLA. I inherited a dog with IBS. Her food is $75 a bag and that is online. Vet would charge twice as much. They tried gouging me last week. Wanted to charge for an exam prior to a booster vaccine. I had just has an exam for an ear problem. They agreed to only charge me $18. I need to start buying vaccines online again. Getting ridiculous, I love my animals and have spent thousands on them but I am beginning to think vets 'love' money more than animals.

Two of the males from a previous litter were clipped today, my George and Yoda that my cousin adopted. Vet suckered Meg into over 100.00 of vaccines for a cat who will never be allowed outside. George got clipped and a rabies shot. Would bet money my George will live longer to boot. I love my critters but am adamant about quality of life over longevity.

My only male cat, who's now 13 (still have his Momma and 3 sisters, too) is at the vet right now

Our "small town" vet hasn't jumped on the gouge bandwagon, thankfully. Been seeing our cats for years, and still reasonable.

Have you looked into buying your RX cat food online? The Dr. has to give you a prescription & it’s much cheaper online.

I haven't lately. When I'd initially checked on it 8 years ago it was quuite a bit more online than locally. Checked again a few years ago and it still was, so I haven't checked since then. Maybe things have changed though, so I'll look again. Thanks!

They tried gouging me last week. Wanted to charge for an exam prior to a booster vaccine. I had just has an exam for an ear problem. They agreed to only charge me $18.

Sounds about like the vets here, too. They charge $250-275+ to do bloodwork on a dog before they'll do a dental checkup and cleaning on it, for another $125-200. ;)

Vet suckered Meg into over 100.00 of vaccines for a cat who will never be allowed outside.

That sounds about par for the course. It seems to be all a money grabbing plan for far too many vets now, IMO.

I've been kind of pre-occupied lately to check much of my email. So I just found this a couple hours ago. I have a coupon code again, to pass along to someone for Bulk Apothecary...in case anyone needs PG and/or VG. I'm set with enough of both from them for quite awhile.

It's for $10 off an order of $29 or more. It expires at midnight tonight though, so someone would need to use it quickly. First person to PM me can have it!

    @IDJoel

Your 4 year old batteries are a bit long of the tooth. I get nervous when batteries are 2 years old and usually replace them at that point regardless of how they're performing.

I would replace any batteries that old asap. Dendrites form in li-ion batteries over time and make your battery much more unstable than when they were new. This is a known, naturally occurring condition with li-ion technology that happens over time and multiple charging cycles.

A study published by scientists at the Department of Energy’s Oak Ridge National Laboratory put it this way: “Dendrites form when metallic lithium takes root on a battery’s anode and begin growing haphazardly. If the dendrites grow too large, they can puncture the separator between the electrodes and short-circuit the cell, resulting in catastrophic battery failure, fire and explosion”.
I have never heard of that (dendrites) before. Thanks for the pointing it out! I will make replacement 1st priority.
LG H2's are great batteries but I'm not so sure about the eFests (they are not a manufacturer, they just re-wrap and especially because there is no such thing as a 35A 18650, it's just not possible with the existing technology). If Mooch doesn't recommend them I don't buy them.
I knew (from Mooch's reviews) that eFests were vastly over-rated. But, as I was/am not a "power" user, I wasn't too worried. Also, at the time, they were on Moch's approved list (they still show on his old/outdated list).

Regardless, they will be getting replaced ASAP. I see (thanks @Heartsdelight!) that the both the Samsung 25R's, as well as the LG HG2's are only $3.99/ea. (for flat-tops) right now at IMR. I will try to get an order placed in the next day or two. :)

Thanks again, to all who responded!

    Somewhere between here and there
I finally got my zeus x in the mail yesterday. Holy cow it has a lot of airflow. I had to close it off almost all the way. I purposely put the graham cracker custard in it since to me it's not a real strong flavor and I wanted to see how the X was on flavor. It's pretty decent so far. It took a little bit to break in the coil and wick. I put a 4mm 24ga coil in since I'd really like to run it single coil. I may try duals later.

@FranC - What was there about my vet rant that you disagreed with, if you don't mind telling me? @rosesense may want to know the same about hers.
I am in Az and trying. To use small devices to be online I’m sorry for hitting the wrong button

Here's the funny thing. I thought I was never going to get the one from 3avape so I used my $10 credit at breazy to order another one and both of them came in the mail yesterday. I hope I end up liking it since I have a back up now. I don't much care for the short drip tips so the first thing I did was replace the tip with one of my favorites.

Yeah, and of course she knows it!

The folks we got her from said she was half Himalayan, and could be. Her fur is, other than on her head, about 2 - 3 inches long. Good thing she loves for her daddy to brush her!

(Anyone want to try some Himalayan wick? ;) )
Trade you for some (mostly) maine .... wick ... after I brush her I’ll have plenty to share!!! She adopted us at @8 when her previous human passed away.

    Another question:
I'd like some opinions on the best mango flavor concentrate. Right now I'm leaning toward the Cap mango, I'll mostly be mixing this for juul pods for my granddaughter and her boyfriend.
Any recipes would also be greatly appreciated.

No problem @FranC , I did that to NolaMel once by accident. I wish they didn't even have that disagree one, it only causes problems.
Agree!! I know you  me anyway ;). At least put the blooming X at the end where we can avoid it. Even using a stylus, I have to go back and “un-x” on occasion.
