To get back to the present....I am trying my very first .8 coil in my new Zenith. It might not end up being my fav but so far it's working quite well.

I'm also trying a .8 coil in my zenith. The airflow seems a little tighter and I ended up turning up the watts a little bit.

@hittman You haven't mentioned the zlide for awhile. Are you still liking it?

I do like the zlide ok. Just ok. I like the push to fill feature and the ease of cleaning. I honestly don't notice any difference between the airflow on this and the zenith when both are using the .48 3d coil. I guess it would be a good tank if you just wanted a small tank for a stealth set up. It works fine and hasn't flooded or given a dry hit which I'm not surprised since it uses the same coils as the zenith. I would recommend sticking with the zenith if you're happy with it. There's not a lot to gain with the zlide and you lose liquid capacity.

Probably the same, it is by The One. When I mix it again, I will lower % of lemon meringue and super sweet, leave the straight meringue out and add lemon Sicily.

The recipe I save is for The One so same thing.

FT used to sell a kabuki clone but I can't remember the name of it. I have 3 or 4 plus one authentic. Last time I tried putting a nauti coil in one, didn't work. I haven't messed with it since...one of these days.

Every once in a while I get a coil that does not screw in nicely or does not have a resistance reading. If there is no resistance, I trash it. If it is a manner that it does not screw in like it should, I reverse screw it in and then screw it in the right direction. This usually works for me.

I'm kind of between a DTL & MTL vaper, however, I did use a Nautilus for a long time, but somehow fell out of love with them. I still have a bunch of the Nautilus coils, so I picked up a Nautilus AIO to use them up and I'm liking the coils again. Perhaps, I need to dig out that Kabuki now.

Thanks, for some reason I thought it had a different name lol. This is the one I have but I wonder why the nauti coils didn't work in it.

I used the 0.8 exclusively before the 0.5 came out. When I tried the 0.5 I noticed it was airier. I tried the 1.6 however never cared for them. I found it took way too much vaping to get any flavor out of the coil. I never had the patience for it.

I intentionally used Zen because I know that is his preference. If you want to buy one of his mods they are available on The ZFO.

I didn't want a Zlide. I was just wondering what you thought of it cause you didn't mention it again.

You just have to try them all and see. On the Platform fb page, it seems like most people prefer the.8. To me, the flavor is better on the 1.6. I do use both, but mostly the 1.6 all holes open at 13/13.5 w. I think a combination of how you set your af + your preferred wattage affects which one you like.

I'm still using my original coil in my purple Zenith with the same dark juice and it hasen't clogged yet. Might be awhile before I get to a 1.6 coil.

That’s one of the reasons (besides af) I went with zenith for my sole drop in tank. I probably leave my coils in too long (they recommend weekly), but I know I go way past that “sometimes”. I wait until they get gurgly or flavor/af drops off.

No . I still have it on my wish list though! You’re still really liking it? I start every day on a regular heating pad in my chair to loosen up my back. It’s funny you mention it, I was telling my brother about it this afternoon and meant to ask you for an update!

It is definitely better than any other heating pad I've had--and I've had quite a few. It makes my skin feel less hot than a regular heating pad does, but the heat truly does seem to penetrate more deeply.

One interesting thing: After a few days of using it on my shoulder, I noticed that the surgical scar there had opened up. This is almost five years after the operation. It drained briefly and then healed back up again. Weird, huh?

It has also marked my skin. I already had possibly permanent discoloration on my shoulder/back from years of near constant heating pad use, but this thing added to the damage after mere weeks (in a charming polka dot pattern, matching the arrangement of the stones). I probably shouldn't use it as much as I do, but I'll gladly trade some painless surface damage for less deep aching.
