How does this look to y’all? I’ve used honeysuckle, but always in a fruit or tea mix...not with creams

There was a recipe posted that called for both menthol and WS-23. Anybody recall that one? I'm not even going to search for it this time at night.

I used both in my Fizzy Pink Lemonade. It isn't unusual to use both since they do different things in the mix.

That's funny! I just came across that, and saved it to my calc, to try, today. For a change, I actually have everything.

Oh wow, what a great find! Unfortunately, I'm looking for 10 mls for testing. I didn't see them listed.:(
I haven't seen them either. I imagine it is difficult to get anything ledgible, accurate, and cost effective. I would be inclined to get something like this:
10mL graduated cylinder
Measure into that; and pour into any 10mL bottle you like. :D

Hello! Just wondering: Has anyone tried the VT Fizzy Sherbert? Did you like it? Hopefully there’s not some potentially negative ingredients in it that makes it feel fizzy. I read on Kai’s virgin vapor site that they don’t make any sour ejuice as is what makes it sour is potentially harmful

I took a screenshot, I have all but the vanilla and flv cream. I may have to make a small flavor order as it looks delicious! We can compare outcomes!

Also, has anyone tried the CSL candied watermelon? What percentage did you use? I find the average on ELR to often not work for me. I’m excited (and hopeful this will finally be the one watermelon I loved) to have 2 new watermelon flavors to try! This is my first time trying CSL. Thanks to @FranC for suggesting the FLV watermelon, that’s ordered too

why was is it in with the flavorings....
Because they sell to people other than vapors, I guess. LA has a lot of flavors that aren’t vape compatible, since they make predominantly for the candy/bakery businesses. If I’m not sure, I check out ELR. But, the word “oil” is an immediate red flag ;)

I’ve never been able to duplicate the watermelon I tried years ago and loved. It was back when B&Ms could sell their own ejuice so I never got the recipe. I have tried probably every watermelon flavor out there with no luck :(
Wow, I am pages and pages behind where this thread is in real time.

@ChelsB What you are looking for in a watermelon vape won't happen with watermelons alone.

Have you tried different combinations of watermelons together? There are times a single flavor company's flavor is inadequate on it's own. You need to add a different flavor company's same or similar flavor in order to build the one single flavor you are after. Sometimes you need to add a third and even a fourth. All depends.

Example: Take that one watermelon you felt was the best of the watermelon flavors you have then start adding in another at a lower % and work up to taste. Once you have two you are semi satisfied with then tweak to taste. If still not what you desire add a third watermelon etc until you are satisfied. This requires patience. Then you can start building a more "complete" recipe with other flavors.

What watermelons do you have?

Here you go, I put this together from looking at flavors I have:
FA Watermelon 4%
FLV Wild Melon 0.25 - 0.50%
INW Melon 0.50% (possibly up to 1%)
FA Fuji 1%
FA Pear 0.50 - 0.75%
FA Strawberry 1%

Start the recipe with the lower %'s, steep, test and build to taste from there. It really won't need much time steeping. Shake the crap out of it a couple times the first day. This is virtually a shake and vape - but having said that I'd give it 2 days (shaking each day) and then test in an RDA (no RTA). When you test if it tastes like candy then drop the Fuji by 0.25% the next time you make it (I'm thinking it won't but let's see). On the other hand if you want it to be more candy then increase the FA Fuji by 0.25% each go. I can't tell you how this will taste as I never made it but I am thinking this will get you into the vicinity of what you are looking for.

INW Melon and FLV Wild Melon will help with the overall watermelon profile. A small amount of FA Fuji will help. Avoid using any sweetener/EM - you will not need it with the flavors I listed. FA pear is a good sweetener for some fruits. A drop or two of FA Lemon Sicily to 30ml may also help but I wouldn't go there until after you've tested this over 3-4 days in an RDA.

We are using a small amount of strawberry (not enough to taste) to help boost your overall watermelon flavor. Strawberry also helps to kill off the rind flavor and helps to give that ripe juicy watermelon taste. BTW that also works the other way with a strawberry profile - adding a small amount of watermelon to boost a strawberry flavor.

Best test time is always when your taste buds are fully rested ---> in the morning. Don't vape anything else beforehand unless its flavorless or your testing will suffer. Vaping a flavored juice before a test will throw off the taste buds rendering your test invalid and thus you may think it to be crap when in reality it may not be. I usually switch to flavorless a day before I test flavors/recipes and for me it works.

Hope that helps and with that I am going to bed now! Let me know if you need help.
