    Somewhere between here and there
I agree and I normally won't deal with them (as my past 2 attempts with them prove) but I got fed up. It isn't about money, it is the principle. If you advertise a discount and send me an email about it, I expect to get it. After I stated I would leave negative feedback everywhere and asked for my account to be closed, they gave me the discount and free shipping. Not going to deal with something like that again any time soon. sourcemore is another one that does this kind of stuff fyi.

I really need to mix something sour and tart cause that is how I feel lol.

Yes, I had my issues with sourcemore. I won't buy there again. Also, after hearing how their customer service is, I think I'll close my account with Lightfire and unsubscribe from emails.

My only reason to use them was the cheap zenith coils. If they’re not going to carry them anymore, no reason to keep the account. I haven’t had problems with Lightfire, but I don’t appreciate how they reacted. Tells me a lot about what response I’d get if I have an issue. I don’t need the headache

I did an online chat with ecigexpress regarding SC Cranberry and then ended up commuicating via email.. They indicated that JF is not Super Concentrated so I asked if they have any plans to sell Super Concentrated. Response: At the time we have no plans to sell SC flavors, however online many people make the mistaken comparison of our Flavors Express Line with other companies SC line as they have similar profiles. We curate our FE selection very carefully so I feel that they are definitely worth looking into (although I checked for you and FE doesnt currently have a cranberry_ sir) and sorry about the delayed reply earlier as well. Case closed.

On a more positive note my BCF that was scheduled for delivery tomorrow arrived today one day early. The PO can be good at times.

One last thought on another Cranberry and that is Natures Flavors. I have not tried the Cranberry however I have used their flavors in some of HICs’ recipes and the ones I have tried are good. Some of the NF flavors have alcohol in them if this bothers anyone. DIY Vapor Supply has NF Cranberry however we all know about their shipping cost. BCF has a few NF flavors that they inventoried at HIC’s request (Ginger and Malt). I am OK with what I have of SC Cranberry however if VZ stops selling this flavor NF may be an alternative to consider especially if it is good and if BCF will inventory it. Here is a link to NF flavors: Search - Natures Flavors

I have FA and INW and have never tried either.

Notes on those two grapefruit flavors.

    FLAVOUR ART
    • Grapefruit
Authentic, natural grapefruit, light, tart, and a little bitter. It is thin, so doesn’t give any mouth feel but the flavor is spot on natural grapefruit
Wayne’s Notes: “This is the more authentic grapefruit of the bunch. It has such a natural quality about it, and this makes the flavoring an easy choice if you need an unadulterated grapefruit flavor. So for main profiles, this is usually what I enjoy using if I want a true to life grapefruit flavor. It's a light flavoring (this is a pattern you'll see in all of these ingredients) so using at 3-4% is not uncommon. But it's refreshing, slightly tart and bitter, a bit sweeter than you'd think, and light on body. Lastly, it's best used in more simple recipes when acting as a main profile. It really shines when it's not crowded with other fruits distracting from its subtle accents. Keep things simple and light, and you'll be just fine.”

    INAWERA
    • White Grapefruit
An authentic grapefruit flavor. This one has the zest. This one has the grapefruit juice flavor, for me. This is heavy on the bitter zest. There is some light sweetness here. It tastes like a white grapefruit, similar in taste to a ruby red. Perfect for adding a zest note to any fruit. This would be great with cranberry. Citric, bright, and tart. Thin in mouthfeel.
RunDastardly says, “A drier version of INW Grapefruit with much more peel. If INW Grapefruit is the pulp & juice, this is the zest. 0.25% or less adds a nice "twist" essence to a cocktail.” Wayne’s Notes: “This grapefruit is the lightest of the bunch (CAP, FA, & INW). But it packs the most tartness, bitterness, and citrus. So in situations where I want to boost the citrus in a recipe, boost its sour flavor, or add some interesting dimension, I'll reach for this ingredient. This is because its flavor profile often gets a bit too hidden in recipes that have any kind of weight to it, but the tartness and citrus remain. It's of the "white" grapefruit variety meaning there's this refreshing, almost water-like, flavor to it in the top end. This can be further pushed by a touch of FA Cucumber. And when using as an accent or "enhancer", I like to sit around 0.5 - 1.5%.”

    • Yellow Grapefruit
This is an actual authentic grapefruit flavor. It is lightly sweet. This is the zest of the grapefruit, bright, citric, tart and somewhat bitter. I honestly don’t taste a lot of difference between this and the white, so consider them interchangeable in a recipe, though not as a stand-alone flavor. This flavor seems to be weaker than the White Grapefruit. Thin in mouthfeel.

I disagree with Wayne's that FA Grapefruit is best used as the main profile. I find that layering grapefruits give the best results, for me.

    Liam's notes on VTA Grapefruit:

Grapefruit Tested @2% Diluted in 70/30 0 Nicotine Tested on a R200 with a Bonza 0.17 ohm dual coil Ni80 Flaptons @ 100w. Manufacturers description – “A luscious citrus grapefruit flavour that’s refreshing with hints of sweetness and sour juiciness to give your e-liquid recipe the perfect citrus boost. This flavour leans towards an authentic fruit so can pair well with real fruit flavours and even tobacco flavours. You can easily use grapefruit as a standalone mix and you’ll have your flavour chasers coming back for more.”

SnV Tart yellow Grapefruit, this is mainly a Juice at the moment

7 Day steep No change 14 Day Steep The sweetness of this has increased and now, to me, makes it more of a Ruby Grapefruit. The pleasant grapefruit bitter and tart taste remains although has reduced slightly in intensity bringing this in line with the taste from a Ruby grapefruit, this is still mainly a Grapefruit Juice although there is a slight flesh like hint in the background.

    22 Day Steep No change

Suggested Usage I’d use a main 2%-4%, Background 1.5%-3%, Accent 0.5%-1.5%. Standalone 4%-8%. I’d use with fruits, teas, chai spices, cinnamon, mint, some herb types like basil and rosemary, alcohols and soft beverage types. VTA Recommend - Mixed:2-3% – Standalone:5-8%

That is so odd since most people swear that the FE line is rebranded Super Concentrates. IDK

Bull City did accept my request to add the Cranberry SC so we shall see what happens with that.

I know what you mean because I have read the same. On the other hand I have also read that JF is from Germany. Probably at some point someone said JF is SC and it exploded from there. On the JF home page on ECX this is stated: Made in Germany, Jungle Flavors flavorings are often all-natural. These flavors mix well with others, and are excellent for aroma and aftertaste. They may not be as sweet as you expect, however, so it's a good idea to keep some sweetener on hand for your e-juice. There is no reason for me not to believe ECX and I feel it would not be in the best interest for ECX to make this statement if it was not true. This is a moot point now that BCF will inventory it and was just trying to find alternatives knowing how good SC Cranberry is thanks to you.

Well,in that case I'll try the coils once I get the adapters. I haven't bought a new rta tank in forever outside of the Ehpro True which I haven't even used yet. I have 2-3 Kanger subtanks that I use with the RBA once in awhile.Have an Aromamizer I haven't used in quite awhile. You collect a lot of stuff in 10 years of vaping.

I have more tanks than I'll ever use, but they are FDA insurance.

EHPro True is a good RTA, especially with the bubble glass tank that bumps it up to 3ml. Like other small capacity tanks it's mostly an around the house vape.

In spite of buying most of the latest and greatest MTL tanks I usually end up with an old 5.2ml Kayfun Lite with the larger tank installed. I hate to get caught away from home and have to refill sitting in the vehicle.

, I can really taste the nic salts in this (12mg). I had tasted this 'flavor' (hard to explain; it's strange to me) in a retail salts liquid and thought it was the combination of flavors they used in it, but apparently not. Don't know if I dig it or not; may need to get used to it. My nicotine is clear, but quite peppery in high dosages, so I may need to try a cleaner/flavorless nicotine first, before I consider buying more salts. I only have a liter in the freezer, so not much loss. Perhaps, I'll only use it for pod/MTL devices, which need more flavoring anyway, and I won't notice... Or maybe my palate is just bizarre.
I'm vaping unflavored nic salt base at the moment, and it tastes surprisingly like a cheap cigarette. The juice turns dark brown in the tank within a day.

I just tried to order .8 ohm Zenith coils from Lightfire, and they didn't have enough left for me to qualify for free shipping, so I guess that's me done with them. No big tragedy: I already have eighty-five boxes of coils, twenty-three 1.6s and the rest .8s. I figure this is enough to last me about eight-and-a-half years. My plan is to build till I can no more and then return to Zeniths. With any luck, my stockpile will suffice.

P.S. I think we should all go in on a liter of SC Cranberry.

They only had 38 boxes left when I ordered mine. I don’t know why they’re stopping carrying them. You and I certainly bought enough of them!
