Huge congrats to you @FranC. I had six years in June. I dualed for a week or two max. I was bound and determined to get off the analogs after having failures with cig-a-likes. I did fall off the wagon a few years ago when I was in WAu. Couldn’t wait to get back on.
Was there a sweeter flavor in your cranberry mix that could have steered the cranberry it in the wrong direction?
The one unknown flavor in one was Aurora bit I don't think it's that because I used it in my Grapefruit Gin and Tonic also. The first mix had Tonic Water which isn't supposed to be sweet?

Congrats to you too. 6 years is a great accomplishment:)

Tonic water is suppose to be more on the bitter side. I did use it in the Orange Marmalade G & T and did not get sweet. On the other hand I was not picking up a lot of bitter. I was intimated by "bitter" so reduced the Tonic Water. Next time i will try it with what the recipe calls for.

That was (at the time) a $140 dna 40(?) Vapor Shark.

It was my first "splurge" vape purchase, and I was using a couple of different tank atty's on it, for about 9 months. To my own culpability, they were all proven leakers, and I have no one to blame but myself.

But... the screen died, and I could not resurrect it.

My judgement comes, from the fact, that I used those very same tanks... had completely "bricked" two other mods (not just a dead screen; but the would not fire) , on an e-Leaf and Segelli... yet resurrected the latter two with a simple PGA soak (followed with a thorough dry).

Since that time; DNA boards, and $100+ mods, can all kiss my rear end! <insert middle finger to every uppity mfg.

Kudos to you for your honesty — there are people that will always blame the mod as being no good no matter what and will never admit their RTAs leak. They get the vendor to refund them for junk mods.

I hope you have better luck with the Cryptic Vanilla. I haven't mixed the Rhubarb and Custard one-shot yet.

I think 10ml is a bit small for a regular mix. The 15ml will last me for a reasonable time since I rotate several mods. 20ml wouldn't be a bad size but I don't have any and I have plenty of the 15's so I'm sticking with those. I use 2 120ml bottles for my plain peppermint and 2 60's for my Blackberry Mix. That way I always have a back-up mixed.

If you don't like the rhubarb and custard then I'd gladly buy it from you.

I just realized how high the total %is... do I need to add x amount of the trinity, or add as written? The milkshake base is 8.5% total, I don’t want to overwhelm the creamy yumminess

Honestly, IDK. For some of my mixes, 14% flavor isn't that much. I rarely go much higher than that but 14% doesn't bother me if every flavor is needed. You could probably cut the trinity in half if the flavors are too high for you.

This is my last day in Virginia. I will be on an 8 am flight back to the Pacific NW tomorrow morning. I am home alone with the 9-month-old, who doesn't think sleeping is his thing, so I have SO much left to do. I lost one battery while here. *scratching my head*

Things will be a little different for me once I get back since my youngest daughter and her 9-month-old son are joining us for a while. Also, my husband is driving cross country with the youngest daughter, so he will be in my hair for a week out there. Maybe I can mix my new ideas at some point in time.

I don't think I need one single thing from BCF's sale. I will do a quick inventory of my frequently used flavors when I get back to WA and order if I am low on anything. I don't think I am though. That has never happened before, in my mixing history. :)

@PapawBrett — What is the average percent of the NET do you use in a mix?

For my own NET's I use 10% on most. A few of the cleaner blended tobaccos (no flavorings, just various tobacco leaves blended together) like 84 Turkish and Anniversary Kake I might go 15% to compensate for the mild flavor.
If you are using synthetic tobaccos, I would try single flavors at 3% - 5% first.
If you are interested, PM me (or hitman, I've sent him a list).

So, anyways.... I mixed Vanilla Swirl 4% and Creme de Menthe 4% back on 6/1 and broke it out this morning. Close to what I want, very close. Just need to tweak the volume a little. Maybe 2% more CdM, and 2% either BC, FV or VBG should just about get me there...

My Heartland order arrived. 100 30ml bottles and seven 30ml bottles of flavor. Looks like I might be mixing a few more this weekend.
