Rrawr. What a day. Head dude was fine, meeting was fine (kind of sort of, we are all pretending we are having a good time type thing.) At the end the head doc was like, "So do you want to meet again in 3--4 months and I was like, "Absolutely." But then evil doc was like, "Oh I think it's all FINE," to which I faintly assented, "Yeah okay then..." We compromised on "I could ask for a meeting if it was necessary." Oh how fun for me. I guess we had more practice like, pretending to like each other a bit of fakery is always good. I did get to say to evil doc that a human being in the room with the kid he was late on was better than no human and if it was "something more serious, as I mom I could oh, determine if it needed ice, or ALTERNATELY call 9-11 and/or summon any of the other doctors back from their lunch, who had actually returned on time." Evil doc was like, "No, I think you could DISTRACT the mom from their primary purpose and like, the mom might forget something important."

I was like, "a) I'm not that hot, I don't think and if she was bi, she wasn't saying." That was my most fun meeting moment but we both agreed to like, SUCK it. Like, also head guy was kind of very subtly "The MA has a skillset too, no one knew where you were, it was a two day old rash."

I have also, well always been, as a mom, able to NOT become DISTRACTED from the very purpose of my child's doctor's visit because I PAY for said doctor and if some lady wants to help me with my kid being hyper, well, cool, but I am going to keep in mind I came in for what I think is a spider bite. That remains foremost in my mind. I'm like "Yeah, so he may be hyper but I think he's been poisoned."

I didn't say that part. Then, we had ALL PEDES meeting which in my experience SUCKS 100% of the time. I have figured out why. We are ALL being extorted to do more, better, excellent perfection and meet quality measures that are unmeetable and that is the BORING part. The rest is just HORRIFYING beyond description.

Then everyone is anxious and creepy the rest of the day we all become the dreaded "homicidal and suicidal" because it is IMPOSSIBLE.

If I ever become like, solvent in PTO again, I am taking those days off, although they do check you. But like ONE a year might be AWESOME.

That I was scheduled with 15 patients in 6 hours didn't help. Some of them were erroneous but that is almost worse as there is no way to tell. Then, my boss emailed how is it going? So I told her HR lady and PC Prince (head of our IT department and BOY is he dumb and if even I can tell, that's saying something) denied me Dragon.

I got up in HR lady's grill and she was like, "Did you ask IT?"
I was like, "I cc'd you on all those emails. I think you KNOW."
She was like "I don't understand dragon so you will have to work with him."

I said, "you are over 30 days overdue to research my request. If you don't know what and why Dragon is and how the test version of Windows 10 speech recognition won't work, I fear for things. Maybe you should do some research."

Then she was like, "I don't have to do that as an HR person Erik will get back to you."

My last email to her contained a single word. It was not the one you might imagine.

It was: "When?"

So far, unanswered. I think that woman is SO AWFUL. It's nice to know she hates me too.

So my boss kinda got an earful, I told her I would be writing short notes because I had to.

Etc.

I’m sure it seems overwhelming now but once you get settled in @your daughters & get organized into a different routine all will be well
I'm sure eventually I'll get used to it, at least I'm really hoping so. A tree fell on my daughter's house about a year ago and when the contractors came to fix the house they did a crappy job. My daughter was not happy and now they've been coming back to fix things correctly. So they will be coming in October to tear up the wood floors downstairs and do the job right. This means everything has to come out of the LR, office and my bedroom. It will be impossible to get settled in knowing I have to move everything out of the room. Ah well, I've been through worse. I've always been a kinda a roll with the flow gal so I don't know why this is so upsetting to me. Must be age..........

Ok, back to mixing mode now. I know I'd picked out 11-12 possible recipes but I only have 6 in front of me. Also, 1 has been previously mixed and 1 is just a partial. Also, 1 is just a base mix. So now I get to pull the recipes out again and choose some more. Shouldn't be a big deal. I certainly have enough. I want to mix the recipe with no name cause @NolaMel hasn't given me a name yet.

I’m awful with names . How about ‘Barbed Berry Cereal? Perhaps I can come up with something better after a gallon or two or coffee....

I like that one. I, however, prefer to have a hint of what's in the mix for the name. Not always easy.

I have 2 mixed and 2 to go. Then I'll need to get out my stack of recipes again. I look at them with an eye toward sweetness. With that in mind, I don't think some are going to work. I'll get these other 2 mixed first.

One of my simple and always mixed, EDVs

    Honey Dragon Tea
    all TFA, all 4%
    Black Honey tobacco
    Dragonfruit
    Green Tea

Not sweet, not "tobaccoey". It also plays nicely as a base for other fruits. although they may add sweet, depending. Additional flavors at a lower %

As long as it's nor tobbacoey. I'm off to put the Black Honey Tobacco on my wishlist.

I know this is a subjective question, but.... I don’t care for tobacco flavors. I see people use them and say some don’t taste like tobacco. What does it add to the flavor if it’s not “tobaccoey”?

Good question. I'm not a baccy vapor anymore simply because of my forever changing tastebuds.

I know for me, and I am solely speaking in terms of the artificial tobacco flavors and eliquids, it was always the interpretation of a particular tobacco flavor and the different flavor notes each one uniquely possess.

It may be hints of chocolate, almonds, caramels, coffees, etc.. blended in a way that puts the user in the mind of it being a "tobacco". Hehe sometimes it takes quite the imagination to even perceive some of them as truly being a tobacco flavor.

Since starting DIY I did venture back into tobaccos after not doing them at all for the last 3 years. I've found 3 or 4 that I really can't do without.

I needed to replenish my Peppermint and I was out of VTA Bourbon so I ordered those 2 and 2 more which I got today. The other 2 are FLV Melon Rind and WF White Chocolate (Milky Cream). Here I go with sft's again. At least there's only 2. Hoping the Melon Rind is more tart than sweet.

Just back from a little grocery shopping with my SIL and I see you folks have no more ideas for me yet. Could it be that everyone is out enjoying summer??.....LOL. I'm going to finish the recipe that called for the bourbon then see what else I can find to mix.

Have you tried the FLV tobaccos? I have 2 I've never opened. I've been thinking about mixing a couple of tobacco blends but IDK. If it tastes anything like most artificial baccy flavors I won't be able to vape it.
